I liked the room and bed, but my wife was not so pleased. We had a larger room - and it was a good size. The bed was big. I liked the firmness of the bed, but it was too firm for my wife.A number of the rooms are well back from the road, so no bother with highway noise.Cleanliness was great.The little kitchenette was well stocked with plates, cutlery, toaster, microwave etc. You could have prepared a simple meal here.Check in was easy. We contacted the office to let them know we would be arriving late. (The office is not staffed after about 7pm). They provided a pin number that allowed us self service access to our room key.A couple of niggles. No solid soap or hand towels were provided. Showering had to be done with the liquid body wash, which is difficult without a cloth to lather it on with.The plumbing was ok, but not great.Sounds from adjacent room was reasonably audible.

Such an awesome place.Has lots of parking, swimming pool, sauna and bbq grill.Room was very clean with smart TV.Location was a plua point as well.Will definitely come back.

Will never stay with them again. No customer service and zero interest in making any kind of effort. Office was almost completely unattended the entire time I was there. When I required their help they made it clear that they had no interest in providing any and that any effort on their part would be just too much to expect. I can't remember the last time I've been this angry about anything.

Great rooms and price etc but VERY disappointed the whole of Bathurst all the way to Cowra hasn't had Gas since Wed night. Motel sends confirmation emails but fails to advise no gas... cold showers... restaurants closed coz can't cook no gas. It's dishonest and deceitful. And Bathurst International is next week & no gas for ages yet. It's hideous

We were lucky to get the last room.The room was clean and tidy and well appointed.The greeting was friendly and the wifi had a strong signal and was fast.No restaurant on site but it is just a short stroll to The Dudley Hotel where the beer is cold and the food is great.

If you love sleeping in a stinky, musty room and being serenaded by the sound of truck air brakes and car engines ALL NIGHT LONG, then Ben Chifley is for you!I particularly like the green mouldy water leaking from the tap for that splash of colour.The discoloured and dirty kettle was an added bonus along with the lipstick covered wine glass.This is probably the worst room I have ever stayed in and I can’t wait to get back to my own bed. Thanks Ben Chifley!

Dream hotel lovely staff especially the cleaners. Allowed us to hang out while a tyre was fixed for no extra charge. Rooms were clean tidy and.the king bed was awesome
