If I could provide zero stars I would. In summary, I had multiple appointments (three) with consultants for this provider which a lot of precious time was spent; therefore, wasted because not much seemed to get done and it was only to get a box ticked for Workforce Australia requirements and Wentworthville is very far via for me. Multiple errors of communication; miscommunication was evident. This was very evident when a support person had to advocate on my behalf via a phone call, and this was to upper management as I could not get through to a consultant. Although upper management was sympathetic, they at least understood from an advocacy perspective what had arisen, due to an ‘angry’ phone call I had from a somewhat ‘rude’ consultant, previously. Evidently, the conversation and many other correspondences were a blatant disrespect and dehumanising of my civil rights according to the United Conventions Rights of the Person with Disability (2006), which is also in Australian disability rights legislation, for example, the Disability Discrimination Act (1992). Also, every time I had a different job consultant, so of course there was no continuity; many times, no one seemed to know what was going on. Luckily and recently, I phoned about the next appointment and fortunately am now going to a disability employment service (DES), and no longer being a client of atWork, as I was able to self-advocate and as a human being with rights this highlights self-actualisation as I am empowered to make decisions over my own life. I was unbelievably disappointed on many accounts as you can imagine from reading this recount. The only good thing is one of the consultants seemed nice, and the customer service representative from upper management was reasonable. Please, if you can avoid this provider, you deserve so much better; you deserve your disability and civil rights to be fully upheld! Nothing about us without us!

Thank you so much Job coach Trang. She has helped me with my resume, she has found me work with my needs. Trang is empathetic and understanding with my situation. Not only that, she has been working along side with me, getting my important documents back, applied for job, helped with travel, helped me and reimbursed my working with children check and police check so I can get work, guided me with centrelink forms, and flexible.

I was so grateful to have been put with Trang, she is absolutely amazing, she is not only helpful but understanding of my situation. After having been with an agency that wasn't nice at all I'm so relieved to now have somewhere that is kind and treats me like an actual person and not just another number in the system..

My previous job consultant wasn't very helpful but I have had a change of consultants and am now working with Trang, I must say she is an amazing worker and goes above and beyond for her clients. Very happy with the changes and outcome.

If I can be perfectly honest my first introduction to At Work Australia was not a very positive one BUT, since meeting Nicole my opinion has changed. Nicole has a very welcoming professional work ethic, despite a recent set back she has encouraged me positively & has a very caring approach.
