Goulburn Performing Arts Centre

Loved it! The theatre is a good size, doesn't look like a 'bad' seat in the house, the sound is great. This theatre will be well utilised with some fantastic acts coming up. Wonderful restoration of the building.

Great intimate venue. Seating is well staggered and inclined so that you can see the stage well. Fantastic to have such a neat and intimate performance space in Goulburn. I’ve enjoyed the GPAC each time I’ve had the pleasure to attend an event/show. Also, has a nice bar serving drinks and refreshments. All staff are pleasant.

Saturday saw The Australian Tenors. My third event since GPAC opened. All of them quality presentations. Seating is comfortable. Tiering of seating is good - no-one can block a view of the whole stage. Definitely going again....

This is a wonderful asset for Goulburn and surrounds. Nice sight lines, comfy seats, classy decor, great sound. It would be enhanced if hand rails (inverted U's) could be fitted to help the less mobile get up and down the stairs to the elevated seat rows.

Show was fantastic. Need handrails all the way up stairs as my wife is disabled and had trouble with stairs, as did some of the elderly that where there.

Nice new theatre. Friendly staff, clean facilities, good variety of shows on offer and decent range at the bar.Seats on the second tier up just behind the metal railing may have obscured vision unless you're over 6ft tall.No drink holders on or near seating unfortunately so you either hold your beverages or put them on the floor.Backstage spaces are comfortable. Doors need some sound deafening when they close.

Fantastic venue. The steps are quite steep though and may be difficult for people with mobility issues. I'd suggest booking seats closer to the front for those that may struggle. There are regular shows, ranging from stand-up comedy to opera and contemporary dance amongst many others. There is something for everyone and definitely worth checking out their website.

Fantastic venue with a great variety of entertainment on offer. Fully accessible with modern furnishings.

Had a wonderful time last night, I had been on a behind the scenes tour earlier this year but it was wonderful to actually sit in the crowd and enjoy a live performance. They have well set out seating, nice short intervals (as a non drinker and non smoker I really appreciate this as some plays I've been to took over 45 minutes in between with no costume or set changes), it's comfortable and surprisingly large, it's a very immersive experience. The building is so striking, I love the contrast of the modern and heritage architectural features. I like how they host a broad range of performances too including plays, comedians, dance performances, musicals and children's entertainment. I will definitely be attending again.
