I called about 4 places to get a tow bar fitted to my Mercedes and no one wanted do it except Car Line. Even though they were busy they got me booked in to have it sorted before I went on holidays. They sourced the part from interstate and even though it was a difficult job charged me a very reasonable price. They made sure I didn’t lose any sensors in my boot and were a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely take my car there again & would highly recommend.

This business has always looked after me and my vehicles well - great customer service - always friendly and welcoming and do a top job on the cars - I have taken 4 different vehicles to them over the past 7 years and have never had any issues with the service provided or the price.

Eric and the team are great. They are honest experts and don't rip you off. Will give options and tell you what you need to fix and what you can hold off on.Had a VW passat a few years ago with DPF problems. Vw dealers and other mechanics were going to charge nearly $8k. Eric sorted for less than $2k.Have taken kids cars to them since, always sorted out and always given good advice.

Exhaust, minor repairs, major repairs, general servicing. They do it all. Custom exhaust systems, highly recommended.

I told them what was wrong with my car after they fixed my muffler that part is good. It was like oh he's just a customer if he knew what was wrong why didn't he fix it but no charge $600 in labour for nothing

I had a serious problem with my car - it lost it’s power and struggled to accelerate (almost to the point where it appeared to be in permanent limp mode).My car dealer (who had serviced the car for all scheduled services) told me it was a dpf filter ... cost would be $6,000+...because that’s what his problem solving flow chart from the manufacturer told him to do.I sought a 2nd opinion from a company who sends mechanics to you. Was told the same thing... dpf filter and would cost me over $6,000. ... he actually told me to sell the car as quickly as I could and get what I could for it.So with 2 opinions I then went to find a specialist in dpf filters and this search bought me to CarLine at Belmont. Eric and Steve started to investigate ... even sending a camera into the dpf filter which amazingly showed it to be in immaculate condition. Clean as a whistle. But still the car was limping with very poor performance.Eric investigated further.... replaced the air filter that had NEVER been changed (remember it had been serviced for years by the company who makes the car and they didn’t once change the air filter?). Eric then ordered in a part, tried it (not the correcting piece and no charge for his attempt).Eric and Steve then took to looking at all aspects. Making phone calls, seeking information from experts (who said it must be the turbo ... and that would cost $8,000).Eric wasn’t convinced as no one really knew about my model car’s turbo so he kept looking - taking closer looks at all aspects of my car. Then magic happened. They found the issue. A $10 piece of pipe that had partially disintegrated and blocked a sensor. $10.My dealership 2 years ago had replaced the timing belt at 80,000km... not normally an issue until 150,000... we paid the high bill without question. We didn’t know better then.So this time we wanted to make sure and I am so grateful to Eric and Steve that we did. I will be forever grateful to these men. True mechanics. They weren’t guided by a flow chart or by somewhat educated guesses ... they did what a true mechanic should do ... look (use their eyes) to find the problem and think about why it was behaving the way it was.True mechanics. I will never take my car anywhere else ever again. The company I work for has now also swapped all vehicles to them for servicing.What are you waiting for. Go to where good old fashioned mechanics work. They use their eyes, common sense and problem solving skills to find solutions. This is how it should be. 10/10 to these men!

Loosing pressure in the turbo of my Toyota Hilux utility & hoping for a quick service as without my Ute, I’m not earning any money.Organised with Carline Belmont for an inspection to understand cost & time. Popped in & problem was discovered & repaired within 30minutes!So glad it wasn’t anything requiring major repair, Carline looked after me, no complaints!!
