Great place for coffee while watching the ships enter and leave the port. The sense of history is beautiful as the Dome was historically the District Medical Officer's Quarters

Unlike many noisy cafes, this one was quiet but with just the right amount of ambience. Food and drinks were excellent, service was great, there was a choice of eating areas, and parking was very close by. Highly recommended.

Very underwhelming visit for me. We went in for a hot brekkie but unfortunately due to staff shortages this Dome only offered a very much limited menu. No hot brekkie really apart from coffee. Was very disappointed as I'm a big fan of Dome and it's coffee but sadly we walked out and went elsewhere.. M

Dome cafe in Port Hedland is a lovely place to stop by for a cup of coffee and a quick snack. The cafe is located in a beautiful old building that gives a charming vibe to the entire atmosphere. However, I did find the food options to be limited and lacking in variety.Despite this, the quality of the food was good, and the coffee was excellent. The staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Overall, I would recommend visiting Dome cafe in Port Hedland for a nice coffee break or a quick bite, especially if you appreciate historic buildings.

As the comment below mentions a full menu needs to be up and running.I was actually promised a job in reopening the kitchen to a full menu all day .I was willing to move my family from the United Kingdom and move to port hedland to get this menu up and running I actually signed a contract and was excited to help the community get a dome reopen to normal hours but dome pulled out last minute.And the company wonders why there is so many management positions throughout western australia maybe they need to start recruiting management in head office that actually know how to source good people that will be loyal and hard working.A company with poor team and low moral withing cafes as the reviews across the company shows on Google reviews is a company only heading one way .

Really interesting spot to watch the massive iron ore shops get towed out. Would be nice to have a better choice for lunch but I guess it’s covid or something

I was in love with the view from this Dome Cafe. They don't have much on the menu but I ordered the waffles with fresh fruits and was just lovely.

I enjoy the ambience, the coffee was nice.Have eaten here 3 times. 1 takeaway 2 dine in.Not having a menu at the counter makes it tricky to order as there are so many items on their menu each time i tried to order what I wanted, the staff were confused with what I wanted to order. So I had to go get a menu and point at the picture.Would also like to see separate salt and pepper grinders. Instead of them mixed together.The childs bolognese pasta was a little bland and on the cold side.It would be nice to see some pasta in the main menu too.
