Buyer beware of the shonky IT department here for not backing up their products. My MacBook randomly cracked and Harvey Norman as well as Apple would not repair as it was 5 months out of warranty and had 2 hairline cracks. If there was 1 hairline crack it was covered. Go figure! The staff went straight into aggressive mode despite me saying it was not their fault. The manager - Leigh was so pompous and stood over me and kept raising his voice. Atrocious! I was made to feel inferior and left crying.The next day I went to JBHIFI at Park Beach Plaza. Outstanding service and knowledge of a huge variety of products.Go jb. I know where I will continue to shop. Outstanding service!I will NEVER buy a thing from Harvey Norman again!

The Sales Guys Trent and Harley were wonderful. The guys that delivered the fridge were fantastic, however the delivery experience itself was not good at all,I had no notification when I booked the delivery to confirm it, no notice when booked, or the day before letting me know a time window for the delivery, I still had no notice of a time frame the morning on the day of the delivery, had to wait to call Harvey Norman when they opened at 9 am, they told me they didn't know, an the most they could do was make a note for the drivers to call me when they were half an hour out, and hopefully an email with a time would be sent to me soon. 11am still no email with a time frame of delivery had to call Harvey Norman again, and they still had no idea and just said likely this afternoon. It wasn't till 12:30pm that I got a call saying they were an hour away. I am a full-time disability carer, so I have medical emergencies that pop up at any time of the day that I need to be available for, but the fact that I wasn't even given a time so I could arrange for someone else to be home for the delivery was horrible customer service, I don't know if it was a failure on Harvey Normans side, Computer glitch, or Failure on Heimas side, but the fact that even after I raised the concern, that a solution was not made, was not ok, and all companies involved I suggest should reevaluate their policies.

Arnika (don’t know last name) has assisted me with a few products including my new fridge and last week I bought a Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. I was actually blown away by her knowledge of every stick cleaner and what they could do and the power each one had. I could not believe that she could remember details of everyone of them. And she was right. I bought the Dyson 15 V Detect and after vacuuming that morning with my Electrolux stick, I used my new one, and I could not believe that the barrel had picked up so much fluff and dirt from the carpet – it filled a third of the barrel. I don’t usually do reviews like this, but I feel so strongly that this staff member had such amazing knowledge.

They need more staff, went in for one thing but it wasn't on the shelves but was in stocks on the website so waited around for 30 minutes for one of the staff to be free to ask if they have it stored somewhere else or at the back, but ended up leaving because the staff there showed no signs of finishing with the customers they had been helping since I got there, not going back.

Poor service. Laptop salesperson announced that there was plenty of stock for the chosen model. Then i was kept waiting for over 30 minutes, eventually went off to do some other shopping. After a further 20 minutes or so I received a call from the salesperson who then advised that they were unable to locate the product i had chosen and paid for and that the best they could do would be to supply the display product which would be factory reset, cleaned and supplied with a free bag for my trouble…..( not really needed but a nice touch). When I opened the bag the product was as it had been on the display, no sign of cleaning, full of smears and fingerprints. Change of mind and refund. In passing I mentioned that I might try the Grafton store the following day. The same salesperson told me that they had no stock either and none would be delivered to either store until at least early January.The purchase went ahead quite smoothly the following day at Grafton who had no less than 7 in stock. Purchased a few other significant bits and pieces whilst I was there.Pretty dismal effort Coffs , won’t be shopping there for a while.
