I have been bringing my pets to this vet for almost 40 years. Dr George and all his staff are top professionals. The service is excellent and always provided me with great advice and help.

With a cat who is not fond of the vet, Spearwood vet consistently ignored our concerns and would put our cat in stressful situations causing her to become aggressive. The vet repeatedly failed to tell us about procedures our cat required as she was considered too ‘difficult’.Went to a new vet and was told that she had stage 2 kidney failure which was shown on a blood test we got back in January at spearwood vet. The only thing the vet told us was she had the kidney function normal of a cat of that age, making a judgement call without fully informing us.Our cat also had elevated blood sugar levels that they didn’t mention and despite something being wrong chose to omitted information.Three months later, our cat was diagnosed with diabetes. When visiting the new vet in a related emergency they asked if she had bloods and urine tests done as this is common protocol when a cat is diagnosed, yet Spearwood vet again failed to provide any standard follow-up testing post-diagnosis.Our cat might be difficult when visiting the vet, but she is a loved family member and the neglect for her wellbeing displyed by Spearwood vet is shameful.We now attend the Murdoch Animal Hospital where our cat is provided a calm environment and has not become difficult once. Further, the professionalism shown in contrast to Spearwood vet is stark. I strongly recommend avoiding Spearwood Vet.

Been a customer for nearly 25 years and they are the best. Adopted five cats in that time, used the boarding services and they have been professional and helpful every time.

Very frendly, know your pets on a personal basis just as your own DR would with you being a patient of theres, they have evey need from puppy upwards covered, (like puppy school and further, a grooming service to pamper your pets) and will help in everyway possible if find yourself with large unexpected vet bills that you find hard to cover completely.....poppy my first dog got run over when i moved to spearwood in 2010 then my beautiful cat Araya, fell to the same fate as poppy due to a high flow of traffic here. Then in 2015 i bought my Shit-t-zu Hope who is now 5yrs old and when she developed an unusual growth that her groomer noticed thankfully!! Spearwood Veterinary surgery brought or beautiful girl through it back to health.... These guys are the best and do an outstanding job with our precious and lovable pets.Thank you all at Spearwood Vet Clinic and grooming service for all your kind and perfect care you show each and every pet that needs you. Cannot praise Spearwood Vets enough!!!The staff are friendly, kind, knowledgeable and above all, understanding!The vet we saw was very thorough, answered my questions patiently, and I was very pleased with my cats treatment.The clinic was immaculate.The cost was reasonable, and I will certainly be returning with my furbabies.

Amazing service! The staff are so lovely and invested in both pets and owners. They have great professional standards and are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and have a great holistic approach.
