The Theater is located in market street iconic place for concerts and events the dress circle located on the second level is audiences.parking is accessible via QVB Wilson parking from market street. try to book it online so it is cheaper than in place fee.the price of food in breaking time was more expensive than usual.

Beautiful venue. The staff were incredible and very helpful. Stunning bathrooms and a bar located on the top floor too. We parked in the QVB carpark, we were able to book online. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Amazing place richly designed in a mixed classical style. Unfortunately, i feel that the theatre has been built with little regard for the needs of the older generation. Steep stairs, limited hand rails and, probably, the most uncomfortable seats i have ever sat down in.

The State Theatre is a treasure! Absolutely love the place, I've seen many great performers over the last 40+ years. Not a bad seat in the house! Seating on all 3 levels. Fabulous staff.

What a stunning theatre, from the foyer to the bathroom (or butterfly room) it is worth the price of a show ticket to simply bask in her beauty.

A beautiful art deco place. I've found to opportunity watch 3 movies there along to 70th Sydney Film Festival. It's been great great experience.
