Altina Wildlife Park

It’s nice place to have a trip with group, family and friends. Great place for kids as there are lot of knowledge to gain here along with entertainment.So far this is the best zoo I have ever been. We spend nearly 2 hrs and every single minute was so informative and engaging. There are lot of animals. Lots of lions, 2 horned rihno, zebra, giraffe, variety of deers, little funny monkeys and many more. If there is any food stall or a restaurant would be great. We had a motor safari and the tour guide was very informative.Thanks for the team altina. Will visit again.

Good experience. We were there during summer, and it was so humid, definitely recommend going during the cooler months. It also gets really sandy as the cart/horses manoeuvre, so bring along a hat and sunnies.We paid $45 per person for motorised cart.It was disappointing that light afternoon snack wasn’t provided despite stating it on their website upon booking confirmation.There were other animals outdoors and a small air conditioned mini museum you could take a look while waiting for the tour to start, but many of us were just in the AC room due to the weather, it was about 43 degrees celsius that day.Our tour guide seemed to be rushing, we only had a few seconds view of some animals or just drove past them which was a pity. Our cart was overtaking all the other groups who had different guides.I believe this would’ve been a better experience with different tour guides, nevertheless, it was a unique experience for us.

A must to see when you are in Griffith. The best wild life park. Book ahead for 9 AM and 1 PM guided tour.

Loved it! Worth the money, Rebecca our tour guide was extremely informative,so patient and knowledgeable about all their animals. Great guide, also animals were looking so good and well taken care off, will definitely visit again.

I took my son who is 4 today, he loved it and so did I. We did not go in the horse drawn carriage instead just opting for the basic seats on the back of the Ute. It was pretty cool. There was plenty to see, we arrived at 12:45, with gates opening at 12:50 for our 1pm booking. We could then park inside the park. From the parking we moved into the gift shop to pay and then on to the little walking track here we got to see some monkeys, mear cats, crocodiles and alligators. We had 30 minutes to roam around before boarding our ride around the park. The ride went for about an hour and half. All the animals seemed to like the attention and came up to the viewing areas, some with a little coercion of food from the guide lol. It was a great day out. The kids could move around the carriage while stoped to get a better look, all in all I would recommend Altina wildlife park. Bookings are essencial on their website.

I returned for another fabulous visit to Altina today. The young Emily guided our tour. She was amazingly knowledgeable and very informative. We also did a behind the scenes tour which was an exceptional experience for our visiting family.

An amazing zoo with up close encounters with the animals, you are driven around the park on wagons with an informative guide, free tea and coffee at the end of the tour. Not very crowded which was excellent

Amazing experience, I will definitely visit again!

We did a tour on the 11/6/23.It was an amazing experiance for the whole family we loved all of it, from the horse and cart to all the amazing animals.I love that as you go around they feed the animals so you get to see them up all really close unlike other Zoos you see them sleeping from a distance (mostly). Tour guide (Rebecca) was so patient with the kids questions and comments they learnt a lot while seeing and loving the experience. They have already asked if we can do it next weekend.I would reccomend this to everybody it is a MUST SEE 10/10 !!!
