Was previously very happy with Studio Craft however, after today we won't be coming back.We brought in an antique typesetters draw to have some hooks attached so we could hang it on the wall as a shadow box.The girls in store suggested safety hooks and assured us that the drawer would sit flush to the wall. We weren't really happy about this option and wanted to hear about other options instead, including hinges, and they assured us the boss" would call to have a chat. This never happened and they just added the safety hooks anyway without consulting us.When adding the safety hooks that we actually didn't want

A great business that does great work. They have some lovely artwork available to buy and a large selection of frames too. The staff are very helpful and very pleasant. I was very pleased with some earlier framing work they had done for me, so today I called in for some help with a painting and I had such a great experience that it made my day. They're generally fast and well priced! I had a really good experience with an old picture of my grandfather I got framed, they had a some good ideas about how to layer the picture within the frame using different colour boxes. I would've never thought of it and the final product is really great.

Have had my studio ghibli puzzles custom framed here and they both look amazing on the wall! I love that their frames are so high quality and all staff members were so lovely and helpful as I wasnt quite sure which frame design looked best. Thank you for your help!!! WOW! I asked for a simple, cheap black frame for my Escher print and boy did they deliver! When I went to pick up the frame, it had a matte board, a beautiful black wooden frame and I wasn't charged anything extra despite the fact the very obviously, extra work had been done. Thanks so much Studio Craft for the impeccable workmanship, good and speedy service and great communication for this poor student.

The most unprofessional service I've ever met.I'm still waiting to get my money back.The job was relatively easy: I needed to get some fine art prints mounted onto mdf panels. This can be done by hand, using cold glue process whereas the print is particularly delicate.Instead, the so-called framer chucked my works into a machine-roller and scratched all of them.Since I had to indicate the orientation of my abstract works to the guy who had to mount the hanging thread behind the mdf panels, I was at first invited inside the workshop, where I could see that my works were stacked one against the other in a lot of dirt and sawdust, with not even a sheet of paper between each other.I then saw the scratches and I refused to take away the works, asking to meet the manager first.I then received a call from a man -never met before- who said to be the manager of the shop. He proposed to apply a layer of spray that would have hidden the scratches. I refused and I decided to meet him in person at the workshop.Other staff members were in the shop while I was complaining with him, but acted like they could not hear/see what was happing (embarassing).The man refused to admit that my works were ruined even while we both had them in front of us.(I even have photos of the scratches on my phone)He was only willing to re-mount 3 of them that by his opinion were more evidently ruined than others.I said to him that I was no longer trusting his service and so it was pointless of re-doing the job there. I instead asked for a full refund, which he and his staff totally denied.During the argument he got so nervous that he deliberately smashed one of my works on the table in front of me.Among his comments:- he said that I was looking at the works from too close and that nobody would have noticed;- he said that my complaints were bullshit" (reporting his exact words);- he made very bad sarcasm saying that I could probably not speak English so well if I could not notice the advice at the bottom of the paperwork reporting: 'Work is accepted on the basis of "all care - no responsibility" (actually

We used to love their work but we won’t come back any more.We brought in a map to be framed and asked it to be placed in the center; we brought in their previous work as example. After they finished framing it, map wasn’t centered at all, with the bottom white space being 1 cm more than that on the top. Even the right and left sides were not centered. Their work used to be so precise and we have never had issues with them before. I was really surprised and called them to discuss my issues.When I call a shop, The man who was in charge of our frame insisted that it was a standard framing and said I could bring back my frame but he was not sure if he could fix it without charge. After I brought in a frame, he agreed to fix it without charge. However, when I picked it up yesterday, I found that there were small black stains on the white mat although they fixed the centering…. I feel their quality isn’t what it used to be. I decided to leave it as it is although I was really disappointed.

Called up to get a rough estimate for the printing and framing of a picture. The person I spoke to just told me it was $100 to print without asking me the size of the print and then said they couldn't talk more because they had customers waiting" right before he hung up the phone. If that's the kind of customer service they offer

I've been using Studio Craft for all my framing needs for years now - great customer service from front counter staff and great service from factory area. Michelle, Julie and Lindsay are very knowledgeable with their product and I have been very satisfied with the quality of my framing. I would definitely recommend this company.
