Great restaurant. Staffs were friendly and attentive. They were so accommodating to squeeze us for dinner despite a busy Friday evening. We strongly suggest to book in advance to prevent disappointments. We had a lovely night. Our favourite were the puttanesca and the fried mushrooms - both were ridiculously delish! The beef cheeks wasn’t bad at all. The meat melts in your mouth. It was delicious. Good variety of wines, cocktails and spirits. I personally like their new cocktail (Continental of Vienna). I was hesitant to try it at first considering one of its ingredients is white egg. Glad I tried it; it’s one of my fave now! We were disappointed with the mojito - it was all ice and so little of the cocktail which is not worth for the price. Other than that, all our orders tasted spot on! Parking is not a worry. There’s heaps of parking surrounding the restaurant. We will definitely dine again or have takeaway soon. Highly recommend Shanikas Berwick.

Nice experience at Shanikas Bereick. Vegetarian options are very limited though.Hospitality is great. Someone greeted us in Italian as soon as we walked in. Took great care of us.

Like its reputation, it did not disappoint! The staff are polite, friendly, attentive and flexible - even adapting a menu item for our 3 year old! The surroundings are beautiful and well looked after and then there's the food! Freshly prepared, quality ingredients and sensationally delicious! Hot tip: go for the brownie, the memory of it melting on my tastebuds will last a lifetime!

Professional and quality. Best you can get in Berwick. The Ragu was cooked perfectly, from the pasta to the meat. The beef was super tender and succulent, broke apart easily. Very flavourful for a simple dish. The atmosphere is very chill with very good heating outside on a cold night. Service was very nice, friendly and professional. Would 100% reccomend. The prices have gone up a fair amount compared to the pictures on google maps though. About $40 for a pasta dish.

Adding more feedback.This week I was back here for another celebration.Again a great meal. This time I had Chef Frank’s Special Pasta. Really enjoyed it, and suggested the meal should be added to regular members.Thanks team Shanikas.Shanikas is a yearly special place that we really enjoy.This evening we had fantastic service. The staff made us feel really welcomed.We had our 11yo daughter with us, and the staff made her feel welcomed.Great meals, great service.Thanks team Shankias!

We came here for the first time tonight and was not disappointed!Extremely lovely & friendly staff who are extremely attentive, despite the restaurant being absolutely full. Never had to try and get anyone’s attention. They appeared at our table each time in perfect timing, checking on us and getting us more drinks. In particular, thank you to Claire! :)The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! So much flavour. We will definitely be back! I think we’ve found a new local fave

From the moment we walked in my wife and I were made to feel very welcome. Water was bought directly to us and special explained. Given plenty of time to look at the menu with no pressure from the staff. Order taken and a very good wine recommended by our server. It was very busy and it did take some time for our meals to come out but I must say it was worth the wait. Everything cooked perfectly. I had steak and everything went well and my wife the barramundi. Dessert was especially delicious. Once again all great. Been a long time since I’d eaten here but I can assure you, it won’t be long before I’m back. Thank you for a great night.

My husband and I went to Shanikas for our anniversary. The staff were all amazing, the food was 10/10 and the staff made us feel extra special with a very special dessert plate with happy anniversary on it. It really made our special day even more special ❤️
