As a visitor to Mackay for the weekend, I was looking forward to these markets.When I arrived, it was closed & no signage to indicate what happened. Very misleading. Management should update hours on Google.

It was so exciting to find out about night market here in Mackay but Felt disappointed after arriving here. If you are from a big city, don’t expect too much as there’s only very limited selection of food trucks and stalls in the market. However, if you have nothing else to do and appreciate a bit of crowd, noise and see some night life happening in a small town, definitely pay a visit. It happens every 2nd Friday of the month (March to December) in Mackay.

Nice old building. Would be a great venue for a restaurant / function centre. Markets are ok, but the same old same old stuff.... At least some stall holders do now accept EFTPOS transactions.
