Railway Motel Myrtleford
We stayed overnight (26/4/23) as part of a gourmet and wine cycling tour, booked on our behalf. They have a door code check-in/security system and a bike storage room. Our room was clean and functional but tight and with a brick wall view. Checkout is 10am on the website but when we returned from breakfast at 9:09 we were told tersely we had checked out by leaving the room and could not brush our teeth, there was no alternative offered and so went to the nearest public tap to do so. It seems automated checkout by leaving the room trumped any kind of customer service. Very disappointing for an otherwise great holiday

Rooms are clean, tidy & have everything you need. Staff are friendly & happy to help. Check in is very convenient even if arriving late. We would definitely stay here again

Absolutely fantastic place..it’s a touch screen check in, but the management is directly on the phone and will sort any problems out immediately..Feels like a modern apartment inside..excellentEach car park is under shelter and fully shadedCan’t say more..

We rode the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail in May 2023 and after a long ride in chilly weather we wanted warm and quiet accommodation in Myrtleford. The Railway Motel was just perfect for our needs. The rooms are secure, cozy, new, clean, very quiet and warm. The showers were hot and the motel was conveniently located to the Rail Trail. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again. The Railway Motel was our favourite accommodation this trip, due to the friendly atmosphere. An added benefit was the security room to store our bikes, a thoughtful touch. The rooms were great value and within walking distance to amenities.

Rooms were clean, The rooms suit their purpose of a room to sleep, Small but do provide all that you would require. Service unsure and it seemed unmanned. Location perfect not to far from town centre easy walk

Great value for money. Clean and modern room. Pantry has a sink which allows someone to brush teeth and clean up while another is using the bathroom. Very underrated feature for a large family. Check-in vending machine allows you to check in until midnight. Handy because I was delayed for 6 hours by Jetstar. Walking distance to the town centre which has a few shops including a bakery and a petrol station. Everything is perfect and very happy with the stay.

Very clean, good size rooms, beds and pillows are comfy m most likely the best motel I’ve stayed at. Also as a hotel operator myself, loved the self checkin. So easy and you can do it whenever you want after 2pm. Safe to say - we will be back

Very clean room with a simplistic modern decor and with all the necessities someone would need for a short stay, be it business or pleasure. Very comfortable bed and a good sized shower. Dedicated parking for each room as well. Self check in kiosk is easy to use too. Would definitely be staying here again in the future.
