Elachbutting Rock
You have to drive a long way, but it is every penny worth! It is a short walk from the parking and then you are blown away just by the way nature can create forms and colors. Don't miss to go through the cave. As soon as you are in you will see the light of the end of the tunnel! Wonderful. You can drive around the rock. Easy. You will find a Picnic place. Nice but nothing special.

An amazing place. Not at all commercial like Ayres Rock. So clean, natural, unspoiled by mankind. Westonia is marvelous. The council should be very proud of what they have achieved there

We really enjoyed it. We got a campsite with a fire pit and tableFlushing toilets as well. There were quite a few people there but we were all spread out. The walks around and over the rock were great too. However you could head a further 12kma to berringbooding rock if you want to get away from the crowds. We went there next and we're the only ones there.Well worth the visit though.

As beautiful and spectacular as Wave Rock at Hyden - without the crowds and commercialism. Safe and magnificent with free camping.

Good campgrounds, plenty of bays, no phone signal unless you climb the rock

Nice place to camp. Very clean lots of wood lots of space for caravans and the ground not to hard for tent pegs. Good access on gravel roads and beautiful views. Some good rock formations here and plenty of places to explore.

Total amazing site. She is a grand granite rock with “wave” formations that vary in colour. Steep climb up and well worth the effort. A 5km drive around. Camp grounds have toilets and plenty of space. 4WD track takes you close to the top.

Elachbutting Rock is a beautiful monolith and popular with campers & caravanners . The largest of the three local rocks ( Beringbooding, Geeraning & Elachbutting) it has plenty of walk trails , views, tables and toilets at the designated camp site. Monty's Pass is a fab climb into a cool dark 30-40 metre long pass made when a giant chunk of granite broke off from the main rock and wedged into the ground. Lots of Wave Rocks" like the famous one at Hyden here as well.. As the camping site was full I went to the near-by Beringbooding rock which was comfortably emptier of people. Definitely a must do when visiting the area."
