Angela was really helpful, I brought in a tripod bag and even though the material was really thick and nearly broke the machine, she persevered. She mended the strap and a pair of pants for me in 10 mins! Very quick, reasonable price and wonderful service. I will be back!

Kind staff, atmosphere was very welcoming and overall experience was wonderful! My formal dress was a size too big and was made to fit tall girls (I'm quite short), ended up with a dress that fit me perfectly for a price that I was very happy with! I've already recommended this place to my friends and I'd definitely come back here :)

Brought my bridesmaid dresses and another dress here to be shortened and hemmed. Anh was lovely to deal with when we brought our dresses in to be measured.My experience turned sour until we experienced rude customer service from the lady who was working there on Saturday at 4pm.  From the moment myself and my bridesmaids walked in, she was already staring us up and down as if she didn't expect us to be actual paying customers until I presented my paid receipt. We felt like she was looking down on us from the get go.Throughout our interaction she sighed multiple times as if I were wasting her time. She mentioned I had to pay an additional cost to sew the lining of a sequin dress to which I was happy to do. I then mentioned they charged me for 2 strap alterations (a one shoulder dress) and shrugged her shoulders - Blaming her colleagues for the mistake and not wanting to deal with it 'I didn't do the service!' with her hands in the air, shaking her head and frowning at me, expecting I would just take the dresses.She let me go home with the dresses without having to pay the additional cost after explaining multiple times why I didn't need to.Problems did NOT end there.One dress was altered well - great!One dress had it's lining not sewn well and flapped around and folded when walking. We ended up using safety pins to fix it, pointless job if needed.My sequin dress was just downright HORRIBLE. They simply cut the fabric WITHOUT hemming the dress and cut the lining shorter than the actual dress, visible when worn.I will NEVER go back! I don't even want them to fix it because they RUINED my dress and were rude to me! Paid over $300 and they did such a horrible job and received horrible customer service. Cannot believe they wanted me to pay for the sequin dress' lining.I will now have to go elsewhere to fix the bottom of the dress and have it shorter than I'd like because they cut the lining too short.Do NOT go here. To put it nicely, they will NOT do a good job.

GOOD CLOTHING ALTERATIONS OPTION WITHIN MYER MELBOURNELooksmart is a chain of clothing alteration stores. this one is located on level 2 of the Myer Melbourne store (at the Lonsdale St end of the store in the corner).You don't need to have purchased from Myer to use this service but you you can still use your Myer One card to accumulate points.Cash and credit cards, onsite changing booth and collect later option.

Angela at Myer Looksmart Alterations was great! Really hectic time over Spring Carnival week but she still fitted in my alterations for two pair of work trousers. Plus she had them done on time and all while displaying terrific customer service. Thanks again Angela! 0:)

Excellent customer service high quality workI have been using lock smart alteration in Myer CBD for several plus years now. The ladies there are always friendly and attentive. Nothing is ever a bother and they have been able to mend some really odd tears for me.I highly recommend their service for simple alterations to technical repairs and everything in between.

Just received my bridesmaid dress today along with the other bridal party dresses and I was very displeased with the result with most of the dresses as the hemming of the dresses was so poorly done. Let’s not forget the unwelcoming service we were met from this one lady that gave us unusual looks upon arrival. She also snickered and shrugged her shoulders when we asked her some questions about the dresses. Do not go here unless you want to leave feeling annoyed and robbed of your money. You will regret

The crew at Bourke St Myer Looksmart are fantastic tailors. I have had a number of items tailored here and they all came out perfectly.Angela is outstanding - friendly, helpful and does her best to ensure the alterations are completed as soon as possible for you. I will be returning and highly recommend!

The team at the Bourke St Myer Looksmart are amazing tailors, especially Angela! I have had a number of suits tailored there, including having trousers and jackets tapered both on the outside AND inside seams.I have another jacket which needs to be tapered for a wedding I'm going to and I'll definitely be taking it to Angela and the team!
