Wattle Grove Air
We had our first ducted system installed by wattle grove air, We were very happy with them, so called them back to install another in our new place. They took time and patience to answer all our questions, gave us good recommendations for type needed in a different climate. They recommended our unit to go on a slab and although provided cement blocks, were able to arrange for a proper slab to be laid for the outdoor unit. I had an issue within days of installing, they came out promptly and rectified something minor. Very happy with the all the staff, very happy with their follow up.

Wattle Grove Air
After 5 weeks without an aircon and during a cold snap, Wattle Grove Air was a life saver. Another aircon supplier indicated we needed a whole new system and don't bother to repair. Wattle Grove Air came, had a look and suggested a couple of parts. They returned within a week with the parts, changed them and the aircon was back working and we were warm again. Difference in cost $13,000 to $1300. They know they're Actron aircons. Thanks again Dean and Paul.

Google wouldn't even let me give this company 0 stars. Dean is not answering phone calls and not returning messages or calls. Last thing he told me that Actron Air would gladly provide a discount on a new unit because this one is out of warranty. Actron Air had no idea about this agreement, he was just trying to sell me a new unit. Took my money for the service and yet to receive a service report and an invoice confirming payment.

Hi,This company installed the return air filter incorrectly, and can't be cleaned because the door cannot open enough.They now ignore my phone calls, emails and messages.I am unable to contact anyone in the company. I will have to hire another company to finish the installation. It has been a year, with a dirty air filter.Avoid this company.

Unfortunately I CANNOT recommend Wattlegrove air.Recently our air con stopped working and we rang wattlegrove air as there sticker was on our aircon unit.Dean who said he is the owner of the company came out to inspect our air conditioner.He said he would be around later in the afternoon around 4. Dean turned up at 6 which I excused as he seemed busy and was doing me a favour.After 30 mins of “trying” to fix our aircon with multiple different parts he then advised he would speak to the manufacturer and get back to fix it tomorrow.The next day he did not turn up, I messaged him to which he called me and used words to the effect of it’s not looking good , you may want to check if we have fusion cover in our insurance as we need a new system ( which he said would be around 10k) .He said he would be back to try some more things. This seemed fishy and thus he didnt turn up again.We then tried another company for a second opinion.They came out and fixed our unit the same day and advised us that Dean was incorrect.Dean left us hanging during the recent heatwave with a 9 month old. We ended up having to purchase a portable unit to keep our child’s room cool.This all felt like a scam and a very unpleasant experience. I CANNOT recommend wattlegrove air.

I had my air conditioning breakdown over the Christmas break and left a message with Wattle Grove Air. On their first day back to work, they contacted me immediately and made a point of coming out and fixing the problem that day. Can’t take them enough for their diligence and quality of work. Will definitely be using them again!

What I once regarded as a professional company has gone done hill dramatically. Getting this company to respond is a joke. Dean tells me to email him, no response. I call him, he's going on hols. Tells me to call him when back from leave. I do, but no response.Save your time & don't bother. Your time is more valuable. I have lost 5 days waiting for Dean to respond.

We are very happy with our installation and performance of our Ducted Air Con. There is not one single thing they could be faulted on from the day I rang in regards to coming out to give us a quote to the day we had it installed. Dean was very helpful with the different ideas of what we could get. There was no pressure from day one. Dean was very prompt with the quotations. The installation team were amazing from the time they arrived which was very prompt to the time they left. They were very understanding with my concerns regarding location of the unit. I know this would of been a pain for them but very much appreciated from us. Nothing seemed to be a problem. Had no problem answering all my questions. The team work very well together. 100% from the team and staff at the office. Thank you all so much.Treena and Karen

I regret to say that after being a loyal customer for 9 years, as well as paying for yearly system maintenance, Wattle Grove Air's customer service is not what it used to be.When we got our ducted system installed 9 years ago, Dean promised an extra 5 years warranty (on top of the manufacturer's 5 years) if we paid for a yearly maintenance visit by a Wattle Grove Air technician. Which we did.Then last year, at the 8th year of having the system, there was a gas leak in the refrigerant tank. No mention of any warranty, and the technician was not aware of it. They charged us $1300 to repair.Now, 7 months later, there is a leak in the tank again and the system is not working. But Wattle Grove Air still insisted on charging us a call out fee of $200 plus labor to inspect again because it was 7 months since the original leak was fixed. Pretty poor service, and warranty, given that we have been loyal customers for almost a decade. The guy also spoke to me like I was a junior on a building site.We then went back to the manufacturer who confirmed that the second leak was a result of poor workmanship by Wattle Grove Air technicians.We felt totally shafted, and our customer loyalty was ignored. It's a shame as I like to support local businesses, but I won't be using Wattle Grove Air, nor recommending them, again.If you're looking for an air-conditioning supplier, regretfully my advice is do not use Wattle Grove Air. They don't care about customer service and haven't even bothered to respond to this review.
