It was the Sculptures by the Sea. Great art piece from various artists. It was a beautiful and sunny day with great breeze.

Cottesloe Beach
Nice spot for an introduction to snorkeling. Some rocks, seaweed and fish around to have a look at; there are sometimes big schools of fish hanging around at certain parts of the shark net. Plenty of sunny and shady spaces to place your belongings.Expect it to be hard finding a car park anywhere after 830am on the weekend. During the week it's not so bad.

Sculpture by the sea is a must-visit every March.I noticed some area of the intertidal zone was blackened probably due to oil pollution from nearby port or tankers.

Like all the beaches in WA beautiful clear water and a long sandy beach. We went here to see the art work displayed all around the beach. The sculptures were really good and well worth a visit. There was no entry fee but we made a small donation.

A wonderful place for rest and relaxation. And most importantly, you can swim freely, there is a fence from sharks.

We visited on Good Friday so it was fairly quiet as alot was closed . Nice beach, parking was full considering. Other beaches have had more appeal , but the icecream across the road was great .

One of my favourite beaches in Perth! Very iconic with the Pylon (if you are up for a challenge, you can climb on it and jump off) and the Indiana Tea House (now „Indico Oscar“, a nice Cuba inspired restaurant). Lifeguards and volleyball fields, and lots of grass sections if you are looking for shade.
