I ordered a harness online which I needed for a new contract for my business stating I needed the relevant safety tags to meet Australian OH&S regulations and 10 years expiry date. Their website stated it was compliant. I was sent a non compliant harness with none of the manufacture date and expiry date tags which are mandatory for Australian OH&S Regulations and when I complained I was messed about and finally asked to send it back on shipping they paid for. I emailed a query and was told they could not track it as it was not yet 10 days - which is rubbish as I track parcels with australia post all the time.It is now 2 months since i paid for and ordered this harness and well over 10 business days since I mailed it back at their request and I still have no harness and no money back, despite having sent postage proof, and photos of the non compliant harness.Worst service I have ever received from a company and I get nothing but justifications when I try and get my money back.Really bad customer service, really bad administration on handling complaints. I hear nothing unless I chase it and this debacle has cost me time and money when I am starting a new contract.All I wanted was the compliant harness I ordered that would pass an Audit necessary for my contract. If the harness had tags I would have no problem, but that has made no difference.I recommend you shop elsewhere online or be prepared to waste money .

Went to get new equipment as my gear got stolen (not the issue) and as i get everything i go home unpack it all and set up my new gear, i get on the ropes the next day and realise they have given me an I.D descender rather than a rig, so i use it once realising theres no other way to get on with the job.The I.D is rubbish for my category of work... as i realise immediately after i go over the edge... i go to the store and the worker promises me to replace it if i can get the box and return the money owed (the I.D is more expensive than the Rig by at least $100).The very next day they say Oh we can't swap them..." very angry and short for time i have to rebuy the rig costing me close to $500 in sales for the two descenders

Terrible service. Sent the wrong item. Expected me to print a new return label and organise the pickup with a courier which wouldn't take my request. There is no suggestion to send me the correct item. The entire experience was a waste of time. You have to be absolutely insane to purchase anything online by this company. DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

If only I could rate 0 stars! Ordered a sign off this company and received a printed carboard cut out for a substantial amount of money that is useless and just rubbish and wont stand up to the outdoors where it is supposed to be used. No aftersales service at all. After bringing this to their attention they modified their website listing and made no effort to offer me the product i was after nor a refund. I know I should have been more careful buying something with no listing but for the price I paid, I did not expect to receive a bit of cardboard!

The team at Heightech were incredibly helpful with providing advice on choosing a harness (I’ve since used it - perfect and comfy). They have a great inventory along with the fantastic customer service. I will be back for rigging needs, and would highly recommend Heightech!

This company thinks their website policy of NO refunds" circumvents Australian consumer law

Placed an order just under 2 weeks ago for a mask, filter and 2 filter adaptors. At the time only the filter adaptors were on backorder. Received the filter a few days ago, and no sign of the mask. Unable to get ANY order information from them on the phone, and noone answers their facebook messages. Logged a ticket via live chat 2 days ago but since then it doesn't work as noone is actually there to chat. I'm unable to see where my final item is, if it's been shipped (as their website says) or even if it has a tracking number.Frankly I don't know how they are still in business with this level of customer service.
