So far, we have only had lunches here and a few of them, too, because they are excellent value for money. They have a few for $15. A lot better than the $10 option around the corner. Staff are always friendly. Food is always fresh. I will have to try dinner here sometime. Highly recommend. I will be back. 9.5/10

Not one to leave reviews but this one experience was one that was exceptionally bad considering they renown themselves as a steakhouse, granted we were downstairs in the pub section. We were never offered water and we waited over an hour for our mains to arrive. I finally asked how much longer it was going to be for them to come, our waitress who was lovely said it wouldn’t be long and she would check on them for us. Shortly after she checked our steaks arrived…. They clearly had forgotten our order and once she checked they must’ve thrown them on whatever hot pan they had because they were completely burned on the outside and over cooked on the middle despite me and my partner bother ordering our steaks rare. All I could taste when I bit into it was burnt I couldn’t even finish it. Left disappointed and hungry. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a nice steak, look elsewhere.

Really awesome lunch deals downstairs.The Thai beef salad was very good, great flavour. Burger was tasty, pretty standard burger. The drinks were a let down. The coke tasted like watery syrup and the lemon lime bitters was inedible..Service was friendly and good.

A good pub with a great atmosphere. During our recent stay in Echuca, we frequented the Royal a few times. Each time, we found all the staff super-friendly and welcoming, especially the daytime bar lady and the two evening bar-girls who served us just before closing time.The meals were tasty leaving me wanting more, except I was too full from the generous serves. I would have liked to have tried their hot rock dining upstairs but unfortunately it wasn't open during our stay. An excuse for another visit to Echuca. Recommended

Highly recommend this hotel for a meal.Food was beautiful, service was excellent and atmosphere was pleasant.Oh and the price was fantastic compared to the other hotels in the area.

Considering it was an extremely busy evening, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience at the Royal! The service and the food was amazing! Great bunch of people! Unfortunately there was a large table with very noisy kids that kept running around and playing under other patrons tables but the staff handled it really well! Great work crew, will definitely be back! :-)

Great food and atmosphere.We didn't book and were still seated promptly. Had a lovely eye filet of steak. Service was excellent also.Well done 'The Royal'

We ordered Parma, steak n risotto. Food and drinks are good here. Pricing is acceptable. Not really like the margarita. In general, I’ll recommend it.
