I had totally forgotten about Frank's in Townsville. When you walk in to the restaurant you may as well be in Italy, it doesn't look like it's changed in 25 years which is it's charm. The food as always was incredible. I will be visiting more often from now on.

Dinner at Frank's recently. As always, the food was quick and generous. We had garlic bread, Frank's pizza, spaghetti carbonara, and spaghetti arrabiata.It seems they have finally stopped using those gross ham strings on everything, which is a vast improvement. Previously we've tried most of the pastas (the lasagne is delicious), and the pork parmigiana is mind-blowingly large. I love that the mains come with side of spag bol, instead of the standard chips and token salad. I've only ever had one bad meal at Frank's, and that was the pork champignon. The pork was very tough, like it had been 'filleted' off a leg roast.Frank Jnr has stepped into his father's huge (cranky) shoes well. All the ladies were super friendly and lovely, even when being berated. The matriarch is also back in her position at the till, with two brand new knees now! I love Mrs Frank, she's the best. Still cash only, but worth stopping by the ATM beforehand.

Could be a great Pizza place but so much is missing, they don't do Eftpost or credit card so probably rorting the system and also only offer one size Pizza medium and very expensive cheap wine

Just as good as I remember! Went here multiple times when I lived here 10 years ago, and came for a visit recently. The parmy was just as good as I remember! Easily feeds 3 people, and everything comes with Spag Bol. Yum!! A family run restaurant with passion. Frank’s is a Ville Institution!

I have forgotten how good Frank's is! It's been a while between visits (over 6 years) and both times the friendly service was above and beyond. The food is amazing, generous and fresh.Family owned and run, it's always a nice change to eat at a place that doesn't try too hard but focuses on the things that matter. Food and its customers. We'll be coming back more often.Big tip. Bring cash as they have no eftpos.

THE BEST!!! Huge portions, well priced for the size and quality of food. Authentic Italian experience. Menu did not show any gluten free options however we didn’t ask.

$19.50 for a small container with maybe 4-5 pieces of ricotta cheese ravioli pasta, absolutely not worth it, and thanks for heavily cross contaminating my vegetarian pizza with meat, not a care in the world making these pizza, sloppy, hard base and absolutely tasteless. Never again, will not recommend. Pictures are nothing like the real food, don't be deceive.

Absolutely disgusting and over priced with horrible service, I asked about the wait time and was told there was no wait as all of the tables had been served.. then watched the other 10 tables get served their pizza first.After about 30 minutes waiting I started a timer to humour my friend and clocked 28 minutes on top of my already rough 30 minutes.. only to have a horrible under cooked and flavourless pizza ohh and then told I can't pay with card.. I haven't held cash in years as it's 2021 and it's not often I visit dodgy cash only businesses..
