After visiting Brisbane Ranges National Park, I like to return to Melbourne via Glenmore Road and Bacchus Marsh, as this route provides the exciting descent into Yaloak Vale and offers great views down the Parwan valley. It was a surprise to find the wind farm had been built since my previous visit, so I stopped to view their graceful action.

Very scenic drive out this way if you want to go for a Sunday drive, there are Wedgetail eagles and amazing views once you get to the wind farm level.The Yaloak 14-turbine, 29MW wind farm is located in Parwan Valley 15km southwest of Bacchus Marsh. Finalised in mid 2018, this development is able to produce enough electricity to power 15,700 homes and decrease around 70,667 tonnes of greenhouse gas pollution annually.
