Canine-Assist are an excellent organisation to help you work out options for having an assistance or therapy dog for various conditions including PTSD. They provide practical advice and when you are ready to commence, excellent support in commnecing the journey.

Canine Assist
Since meeting Richard from Canine Assist in 2020 I have always found him to be professional, welcoming, highly knowledgeable about canine training and an excellent assistance dog trainer. Richard has often helped myself out with even the smallest or biggest canine training question.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Canine Assist to anyone that is looking for a Canine trainer or an Assistance Dog trainer. Or for anyone wanting to be involved in the Canine Assist Assistance Dog/puppy raising program.

Canine Assist
Honestly, I think these guys are amazing. I have received so much guidance from them it’s been incredible. They are the forerunners in AD training in that they have professional trainers working the dogs from puppyhood right through … and it shows. Amazing videos showing training techniques, informative discussion forums, helpful staff, phone and face-to-face support, and open, communicative leadership. If only they were all over Australia!! If you’re in SA and need an Assistance Dog, use them. It’s that simple.

Canine Assist
We first met Richard in February of this year, and not long after began our Canine Assist journey.Richard has been there to answer every question we have, and to reassure us with every concern we have brought forward.Our daughter is excited that next year her Autism Assistance Dog will join our family. And we are thankful to be able to watch the journey of the pups as they learn and grow.
