I highly recommend Smarttek as not only a go to brand for camping accessories and innovation, but also there customer service is second to none. Jaci, is an extremely helpful staff member & has gone above & beyond to ensure my satisfaction as a customer.

We bought our Smarttek 6 in 2016. We've used it about 5 or 6 times. Our unit is pristine, kept in it's original box. It's never been exposed to anything but fresh water from the tap.On the last use, last week, it was working OK but after about 3 mins of hot water, I started to smell gas & then a big 'whoosh' & the whole unit was on fire. The flame was coming from inside the unit.There must be an internal gas leak which was ignited by the heating flame.Luckily I was using the unit hanging on a tree & away from any tent or enclosure. If it had been in a shower tent I wouldn't have known the unit was on fire & the whole tent may have caught fire, with me in it.The Smarttek web site advertises 9am to 7pm 7 days/wk... I called 4 times between 11am & 2pm on Saturday. I tried the 3 different choices given (Sales, Tech Help & Other). Each choice went to the same answering machine which said they are busy, please leave a message & they'll return the call asap.So far I've not received a return call, even though my message made it clear that my unit had caught fire & was dangerous.

Wow what a great company! Exceptional customer service always willing to go beyond never a hassle and explains everything. The hot water system is amazing! Easy to set up and easy to use. Best product for camping! It definitely has made life a lot easier whilst enjoying the outdoors 100% reccomend them to anyone.

DO NOT recommend this company. Purchased a hot water shower through anaconda which is faulty but not offered a refund! Instead I have to wait for this company to get involved to check for a manufacturing fault & wait & see if they will take ownership! Wonder how long this will take. Not happy with the service all round & the hidden warranty terms no one is told about because of the rigmarole contract between the 2 companies..!

I inherited one of these HWS units with my camper trailer and to be honest I didn't have much joy to begin with. I gave Smarttek a call and they were excellent in giving support and running through a few basic things with me, now, the unit is working perfectly and am very happy with it and the support provided was top drawer.

I recently had a problem with my Smarttek hot water system. I contacted Jaci at customer support and she arranged to have the unit returned to them, repaired and sent back to me in a very short period of time. I was simply amazed at the service I received, which is very strange in todays world. I have had a number of other brand hot water systems and have had nothing but problems and backup support. Smarttek is the only system I would consider purchasing. Thanks Smarttek for your excellent service.

After doing a fair bit of research, I thought the smarttek black hot water unit for the camper trailer was the way to go and I was supporting a good Aussie start up. Unfortunately 4 months after purchase I still don’t have a working hot water system. The first unit was sent back at smarttek expense and replaced with a new unit. The new supplied unit was also faulty and has been sent back to smarttek again at their expense to get fixed. I have requested a refund as I don’t feel the quality of the product matches the price and there is no point having a hot water service if it fails every time you go to use it. The customer service from smarttek has been very good. They picked the phone up on a Sunday afternoon to run through fault finding with me, they have paid for the return of the unit to get tested and would fix under warranty if that’s what I wanted. Unfortunately the reliability of the hot water unit isn’t there. 4 stars for service, but only one for the reliability of the unit. I am still waiting on approval for the refund.

Awesome technical support Smarttek, many thanks. After three hours of trying the prime my 6lpm water pump I installed in our caravan checking tanks, piping and electrical connections you had the simple solution - Read the manual and remember to take out the red caps ;).5 minutes later it was all fixed and working. Next time I'll do some reading in advance

Purchased the Smarttek system for continual use on our granny flat .It has been operating continuously without fault .Very economical on gas ,very easy to set up and use .Great customer service and back up .Good to see an Australian product
