this bloke is legit mentally not well, he threatened both my brother and dad with scissors for trying to get our racquets re-strung after he told us to come and pick them up. He really shouldn't have his license to coach, wouldn't trust him if you have kids.

Would not recommend this place. The bloke Steve was abusive and aggressive. Was worried for my kids and removed them from the lesson

Steve is a friendly and accomodating coach and court manager. He has a love of tennis as a sport and recreation for all. His wealth of experience in the sport comes through. A pleasure to know that someone with his philosophy and rapport is taking on the task of coaching and doing what he can to help develop untapped potential! Also does great restringing work!

Coach Steve is the man! My daughter was a beginner when she started taking tennis lessons with coach Steve and I certainly believe it's the best decision we have made in terms of getting her into tennis. He not only taught her the basics of forehand and backhand but with his daily guidance especially through some of the greatest analogies, she started to feel really confident on her forehand and backhand. The best part of his teaching is the way he breaks down everything rather than just assuming you would know it which helped her a lot as he could realise where she was lacking and where she needed to put more time practicing. His advice and feedback were so excellent that she could even make use of them when practicing alone by her self to improve her game.Apart from being a great coach, Steve is also a nice man too. Our interaction with him has always been great on and off the court so don't believe any of the bad reviews you see here on his behavior as some people are too crazy and post any random stuff as reviews on his tennis coaching or character.

Steve has trouble communicating, very rude and abusive. Does not treat students fairly as a trainer.

One star is actually too much for the way the coach - Steve treated my son yesterday during class. I'm writing this review to warn other parents, especially parents of younger children like my son, as I believe sending kids to Steve's tennis school is not worth the risk of him abusing your child. The man has very short temper and obviously doesn't know how to handle some situations with children. My son is 5 years old and during the class yesterday he got upset over something that other children said to him when he lost a point and so he kicked his racket. In response to my son's being upset and kicking his racket, the coach - Steve told my son to leave the court, walked him through the court to the door, shut the door behind my son and told him that he can never play tennis again. My son came to me as I was watching from the distance but not hearing what was said. He was crying uncontrollably and he was extremely upset, saying that he can never play tennis again. Once my son calmed down and told me what happened, we went to Steve who remained at the court with other children. I asked Steve if my son can come back to court now and play and Steve said that he doesn't want my son to come back to classes ever again, as my son sets bad example to other kids kicking his racket. I said that he got upset about loosing a point and about the other children comment and Steve said my son is flat out lying. I said that my son is just a small kid and kids do misbehave sometimes. And Steve said that my son misbehaves and kicks his racket because I'm a bad parent. I said that he as a coach should be able to handle kids misbehaviour and he said that we should get off the court now. At that point I got very upset myself and called him ridiculous and an idiot (my bad) as we were leaving. So we did get off the court and we will never come back to the that place ever again. I explained to my son who was again crying when we left, that he didn't do anything wrong and that he is still a good tennis player and it is Steve who shouldn't have behaved this way. And we will find a good coach that can engage my son in tennis play in a positive way:)

Called and made a booking the day before I arrived. Turned up, person behind the counter advised I had not made a booking (they did not ask for my name or any other information). Showed them the call logs on my phone (I made 2 calls, one to enquire and the second to make a booking) and they became quite upset. Upon asking if I could have one of the courts that were empty, they told me to leave or they will call the police. Not going again, every other court in the Shire is owned by the council but this small business does not deserve our support.
