Adult & VCE French Tuition

Delphine was a such a phenomenal French tutor throughout my Year 12 journey. She was extremely helpful with all my questions, sacs, exams and would always make time for me even if she was busy. She was not only an amazing and supportive teacher, but Delphine also put in the effort to get to know me and my interests. She would always go above and beyond to ensure I understood grammar concepts or writing techniques ~ and would prepare special exercises to accommodated my needs. Without her I could have never scored well in any of my SACS or any of my exams. Could not recommend her more!! Her tutoring is beyond gold standard!

Delphine was absolutely amazing. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her during my VCE. She helped me learn all these tips and tricks when it came to French grammar that helped me so much going into my exams.

I first started taking lessons with Delphine in Year 10. From the very first lesson I had with her, I was absolutely blown away by her amazing teaching style, her enthusiasm, her passion for teaching French, her useful tips and tricks for examinations, and her effective and personalised teaching methods! Although I had been feeling pretty daunted about tricky aspects such as complex French grammar and phrases, Delphine was always able to teach these in such a creative, interesting yet nonetheless efficient way, which made learning French so enjoyable. I remember looking forward to every class, and I would leave each lesson feeling a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction with what I had learned, as well as developing a newfound appreciation for the beauty of the French language each time. Even aside from her teaching, I loved Delphine for her remarkable personality and character - Delphine was such an encouraging, caring and compassionate teacher, which played an incredibly vital role in boosting my confidence and motivation to work hard in French. Thanks to her teaching, I was able to do extremely well in my French studies, earning a Distinction in VCE French 1/2 in Year 10, and an overall score of 95 (7) in IB French (with full marks in writing) in Year 12! I would never have been able to achieve this without Delphine's help, and I am incredibly grateful for her teaching across these three years. I would 100% recommend her to any student studying French!

Can not recommend Delphine’s French tutoring enough. It would not be an exaggeration to say that I would not have survived unit 3/4 French without her help! Over the course of the year, not only did she encourage me to speak in French (even when I just wanted to chat in English!) but it was also thanks to her that I was able to walk into my exams with confidence. Learning French with her was so enjoyable, it honestly didn’t even feel like work.

Wow where do I begin? Throughout my VCE I had many tutors in my various subjects, however NONE of them compare to the standard and quality of Delphine. I began working with Delphine in year 10, after falling off track with French, needing assistance with becoming more confident in my abilities. Right from the get-go I was completely in awe of how much time and effort Delphine puts into each and every student, from providing cool tricks to help you memorise/understand grammar rules, helping to write incredibly complex French, teaching new tenses/cool expressions used by local/native French people - my school French teacher's were blown away by my standard each year! I genuinely looked forward each week to our sessions because it did not feel like I was studying"

Delphine is the best french tutor you'll ever have. She is so supportive and generous and goes above and beyond to help you succeed. She makes you feel very comfortable and always targets your individual needs. Literally could not have done French without her help. Thank you so much for everything Delphine!

Delphine had helped me grow so much in my French, catering towards the final VCE exams. I was beyond grateful for her enthusiasm and passion in ensuring I was receiving the best help. My French became so much better in a matter of weeks. I can assure that those who make sure to stay consistent with her lessons and doing the homework she gives you will easily increase their French capabilities!!

If anyone is looking for a French tutor who will boost your confidence and dedication in the subject… Madame Delphine is the one! I have no idea where to begin but she really made French into my favourite subject! I was lacking so much confidence and passion in French before I discovered Delphine, and my grades being quite average. However that did not last long as I started receiving A to A+ marks with Delphine. Her technique of teaching is truely one of a kind, she makes learning a very fun activity and something to look forward to! I seriously felt like I was just having free time each lesson I had! Delphine is a patient and kindhearted person and I had no trouble opening up to her at all because of her nature. Trust me, you won’t even feel silly if she corrects your mistakes. I am a super shy and introverted person but Delphine guided me out of my bubble to improve in French. She thoroughly helped me prepare for SACS and my exams and I was always happy with the results. She makes French less complicated than it already is by sharing her memory tricks and exercises for tricky verbs! Even if she was booked out for the whole week, she went out of her way to make time for me which shows that she truly cares about your learning! I was so sad when my time with her came to an end as seeing her every week became a part of my life. I will never forget this wonderful woman and her service! Merci beaucoup Madame Delphine~

Delphine is an absolutely fantastic teacher that can help students achieve absolute clarity with the French language, even when mastering the most complex concepts. She is able to make students feel at ease, so that they can productively learn in a comfortable environment. Her many creative resources and exercises reinforce difficult french grammar. Delphine genuinely cares about her students and she tailors her teaching style to the type of student she is teaching. She thereby structures each class carefully, so that students can improve and succeed in the most efficient manner. It was under her amazing teaching skills that I was able to personally succeed in VCE French. I would highly recommend her to anyone learning French!!!
