Deception Bay is like another planet. The place that is, not the EB. The stoner telling the staff about his console collection was quite amusing. They had what I wanted in stock but took a while to find it, no dramas, the staff were friendly, the locals were interesting, the shopping centre is quite sad looking.

It's ok, service by the male in there, is very pushy. You don't get to look around without him at your heels, it's intrusive.The female server in there, is a gamer herself, with good product knowledge from personal experience. She seems honest, welcoming and plainly spoken, no pressure. It's easy to buy from her. Shop stock was visually well displayed, it was easy to see, price points clearly marked. Shop fairly clean and orderly.

I needed a game for an event I had forgotten and spoke with Natasha who was so helpful, actually checking her stock twice, ensuring other customers would not be left empty handed, found what I needed and had it waiting for me when I turned up. The store was lovely and clean, her customer service skills were just as good in person. There were 3 other people in line, she answered all of the questions asked, took her time to get all of our details and signed me up for the EB Game's card so that my purchase was on record. I can't thank her enough! Natasha I hope you see this and know you do a wonderful job!

Recently visit the store and was kindly greeted by a staff member named Renee, I was unsure on what to get my son for his birthday and she spent the time and care necessary to uncover his interests and what type of games he has played previously. Though I do not have the best of knowledge of video games, she did not make me feel like a fool or speak down to me at all. You have made a lifelong customer, thanks so much!

I went into EB games Deception bay today on the 5/12/2022. I was served by a lady called Renae. She was very rude and ill mannered. I came in for a price match which she made very difficult to do even with all of them being an Australian competitor. She talked down to not only me but my little brother 16 years of age. I came in for spectacular service which u guys always provide. But this time it was the complete opposite. I later found out she is an assistant manager which shocked me. People like her should not be in customer experience roles. Let alone a leadership role

I go here a lot my local and I'm a gamer, so I like it , however it's one of the smaller stores stock wise, but the staff are great the girls are great they game and there always friendly and put up with me coming in daily and only buying on specialIt's good as any.
