George’s Barbershop

Had a super busy day and I scrambled to get there at 2:35pm since I know they close at 3:00pm and really needed a cut. The door was already locked and the young lad was in the middle of cutting the hair of the only customer in there. He indicated to me that they were already closed. To add insult to injury, he knows that my cut is very simple and it takes 5-10mins maximum. I pay $40 for that 5 minute cut and have never had an issue with paying that as I like to support my local barber.Felt that this was really poor customer relations to turn a regular customer away when I arrived almost half an hour before closing time. If there were other customers in there waiting I would understand, but there weren’t.Very disappointed that I wasted my time and will be looking for a new barber.

I have been using Georges Barber service for many years. The staff are very friendly and excellent in what they do. My choice of Barber is a lovely and friendly lass named Patty. She is amazing at her job and always makes me feel welcome every visit. I can not speak highly enough enough of her. Would recommend her service to anyone wanting a superior haircut, beard grooming and general hair maintenance.10/5 recommendation.

I have been going to George's Barbershop for some time now and absolutely love the shop and its vibe! The Barbers are always so friendly and make it an amazing personal experience. They are hair artists!! I highly recommend this store, you will not be disappointed!!

Have been here for over 5 years. Staff are very nice and professional, and they do an excellent job. Tommy consistently gives a perfect haircut, I recommend him to all customers. Overall great barber

I have been using George's for over 20 years now. The staff are not changing every week and I always enjoy good banter with them whilst getting a great haircut.

I asked for a specific hairstyle, and showed the barber a picture of what I wanted. He proceeds to give me a random haircut, which was nothing like what I asked for. He also cut it so short that the only possible way to fix it is by getting a buzz cut. I’ll now have to wait 8 weeks or so for another haircut and hopefully this time I actually get what I want. DO NOT GO HERE

I have had many haircuts in my 47 years spinning on this globe but I can honestly say that Tommy at George's leaves me looking dangerous how hot I look. Step aside Hansel, there is a new guy strutting down Oxford St, and it's not Derek Zoolander and he is so hot right now.Thanks Tommy, I'll be back

Great barbers. Staff are awesome, they create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. And the cuts are perfect.
