Great little place for a lunch spot. Didn't have the lamb shank available which was a shame. We tried the chicken parmi and fried barra both were very good. Beautiful old pub built in 1926.

Sadly... staff don't care about whether your meal is OK or not. Try to tell them and they just walk off. Disappointed with the meal after spending that amount of money you a steak

A nice old classic outback historic pub. Friendly staff, cold beer. The menu was basic which I have no issues with. The parmy was pretty good but the veg was over cooked. If the veg was good then I’d have bumped up the score half a star. I’d certainly go back.

Every thing was just fine the staff were very friendly except that when i left i said goodbye to the person at the reception he had his back to me and when i said goodbye & thanked him for a enjoyable stay all he said was ' see ya ' he didn't even turn around....a bit rude

Used to be a bit of a sketchy place to stay, but a recent renovation really improved things. At least in the room I’m staying in, there’s a self contained bathroom, and the rest is quite nice. Sound insulation isn’t great, and I’d recommend runners for the halls to make footsteps a bit quieter.

Got the rooms out the back which are a bit sad and run down. But the bed was good, bathroom clean and the restaurant was only 25 meters away. A pretty good stay all up.

I had lunch in this hotel.. the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere.. met some locals.. they were really friendly.Ordered chicken schnitzel.. was good.. the price was reasonable.. would love to come back when travelling in outback Queensland again
