Outstanding apartments in the heart of Merimbula. I'm shaking my head in disbelief about the ridiculous reviews that some idiots have left for this place. The apartments are sensational and the on-site hosts, Louise and Steven, couldn't be more friendly and accommodating.The complex has a secure pool, BBQ and undercover parking. The apartments are large and have private balconies with delightful views. For the price, I think you'll be hard pressed to find better accommodation in Merimbula. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay with a beautiful outlook! So quiet and peaceful yet walking distance to everything. Spacious and spotlessly clean with extremely comfortable beds and couches. Pool, BBQ area and spa an added bonus. Managers Steven and Louise couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Sensational value we won't stay anywhere else after having stayed here.Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a week in March at the Blue Water Apartments with Louise and Steve. We had the best time. The Unit was lovely and large with plenty of room to just relax. Short walk to the Club and town. Merimbula has the best ice creams and the food in both clubs was memorable. Plenty to do in Merimbula with drives to Eden, Pambula and Bega close handy. The food festival was amazing but so crowded. I've been travelling and living at various guest houses and hotels around the world for over ten years now. This place surely tops the list of ranking up there as the worst place I've ever stayed at on a holiday. The amenities are ok and nothing to shout home about, but the actual customer service and hospitality on display from the old lady who runs the place is honestly deplorable, amateurish and frankly really really pathetic. People who don't know how to speak or have conversations with people really shouldn't be working in hospitality in all honesty. We arrived fairly late in the evening on the first night and were a tad excited to meet our friends living down here - hence why we ended up being a tad noisy on the first night. But once both the owners (the lady and I believe her husband, who was a far more reasonable person to speak to, for what it's worth) asked us to keep it down for the remainder of our stay - we happily obliged and didn't make any noise for the remainder of our stay. We even did the nice thing by cleaning up the entire room, but on the day we were checking out - we were once again met by the rude lady who didn't even have the common courtesy to politely remind us of our check-out time (we checked out at 10:00am post cleaning the room and the checkout time was at 9:30am). Have never ever encountered such rude and frankly disgusting behaviour from ANYBODY working in the hospitality sector like this. Never going to book this place again and I would advise anybody coming down to Merimbulah to book any other place to stay, other than this one - unless you get a kick outta dealing with rude a**holes for some strange reason. Not worth your money or your time and would frankly rather support people who know how to actually run their businesses properly. Not some shambles of an excuse for a human being. Utter rubbish. Those referring to the nice owner who runs this place must be referring to the nice gentleman (who I believe is the rude lady's partner). He seems like a nice bloke, but frankly needs to keep his sorry excuse for a partner away from this place if he ever wants people to actually frequent his business again. Just some honest feedback.

We opened the door to a spacious 2 bedroom apartment & thought great unfortunately that was the highlight of our stay there. The rooms were absolutely freezing & when we complained we were told we weren't using the heater right but we were given a small heater anyway just in case which made no difference whatsoever. We had around 4 hours of heating over the next 5 days so we ended up in bed with the electric blankets on when we weren't out & about. We also ran out of hot water running the spa & had to boil the kettle & pots of water which was more than annoying. And we were only given two towels for our stay the missus had to use my towel for her hair which was no fun for me. The shower in the main bedroom had no pressure which meant always showering in the spa which was a bigger room & again it was freezing. We almost left on the second last day as we had more than enough & that was our stay at the luxurious bluewater apartments in merrimbula. When we handed the keys in on leaving we spoke to an uncaring arrogant women who had just returned from overseas I'm glad our money went towards her luxuries when the room just plain was unlivable. She knew the heater wasn't working & we were told she couldn't find anyone to fix it- well I felt she didn't care one bit. We then said the hot water ran out & oh well she will get someone out. She gave half of a pathetic apology & said write a bad review if you want-again care factor zero.My advice get a tent which will be just as warm or stay home.

A lovely place to stay with a beautiful outlook. Nice and quiet, but within walking distance to town.The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable, a real home away from home. The hosts - Steven and Louise are friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The unit was more than spacious for our 4 person family. It was very clean and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Our hosts were very helpful and had some great tips for swimming and local fishing spots. The street was very quiet and we even got to see some resident kangaroos come for a drink in the garden one evening. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay but still within walking distance to Merimbula Main Street then we would definitely recommend for you to stay here.

The apartment had very clean and spacious rooms located on a quiet street within walking distance to the town centre. The managers were friendly and helpful. It was a great place for us to retreat to and relax from the activities of the day. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Merimbula for our family holiday.

These apartments are shockingly good value for money. In a super quiet area, right on the water, they are in a perfect position for wandering to the best of what Merimbula has to offer. Which is a lot. The apartment we stayed in was so well designed and decorated, it was comfortable and beautiful and felt great to come back to at the end of the day. So well appointed, we immediately regretted not staying for longer.

Beautiful big spacious self contained apartment.. close to town.. BUT.....Views of the water arent too good due to all the trees across the road blocking the view..We stayed here for 5 days, heating in the unit didnt work, was absolutely freezing especially thru the nights as it averaged 2c, notified the manager 1st day and he told us that the heater works which it didnt at all.. Most nights we jumped in bed early to keep warm with the electric blankets on the bed.. we were given a portable heater but it didnt really work as the apartment was so big. On our last night after a big day out exploring the area we decided to have a spa, we had no HOT water at all... we used the kettle and pots to fill the spa up to keep warm (took over an hour of boiling water to fill.it up) we had both really had enough at this stage of being sooooo COLD every night.Next morning we leave, hand the keys in, advised the managers wife of the heater not working and her response was Yeah we know it doesnt work but we cant get anyone out to fix it" Why rent out a room in winter when its freezing cold with no heating????Then we advised her of having no hot water in the unit and her response was... "well you have had too many spas since you guys have been here" 3 spas in 5 days is NOT alot of spas at all!!!Unfortunately we felt like we had paid for a room which was not in working order and should never of been available until the problems had been fixed in the apartment.A quiet getaway for us turned into us both getting sick.."
