European Affair

Long term oil leak, looked at but not fixed by several Mercedes dealers. We were looking for someone local with Mercedes experience, and went to European Affair on the advice of a friend. They were friendly, professional, clearly explained the process for the diagnostic, and then were able to find and fix the problem, without fuss and at a reasonable price. We would recommend them.

I Can’t believe all the good reviews this business gets. They must be related to him.My great experience with European Affairs took my Audi Q5 into them on the 27/7/2022. I had the car booked for a 60k service and had 3 lights showing up on the dash EPC, Start stop system fault and Max engine 4000rpm (which means when I drive the car it is extremely slow about 40kph snail like acceleration and the engine overheat after about 6kms so quite dangerous) had a call at around 4.15pm to tell me my car was ready to pick up.I arrived at 4.45pm the receptionist was nice and then Paul came out to see me to explain the bill and attached report the service was done but nothing else $694. I was told that we don’t have time to spend 5 hrs fixing your car (they are Mechanics isn’t that what they do ??).I told him I had a very sick wife and needed a running car. I was told we all have personal problems don’t put this on me. I also said to him what can I do he said BUY A NEW CAR. I had to drive an unsafe car in peak hour traffic back to Torquay.Have since taken to another mechanic and the issue was diagnosed straight away and repairs underway.IF YOU WANT AN EXPENSIVE BILL, RUDE ATTITUDE AND NO HELP go to European Affairs score 0/5 stars. NEVER AGAIN.Paul - i don't believe any customer would provide such a detailed complaint unless this was true.You really need to reconsider your customer service. I never had such a bad experience with a mechanic.

Fantastic service from a very knowledgeable group of mechanics and auto electrician. Very friendly and efficient, with a fully equipped workshop catering for all vehicles and motor homes. Highly recommended for their expertise and quality workmanship.

Very friendly people (Thanks Paul & Amy)! They were able to accept a next day booking. The work done in half the time I expected and the final cost was as per the quotation I had received for a 30K service. On top of this they left some water, candy, a local magazine and some notes in the car - nice touch! Thank you!

Absolutely disgusting customer service, completely ripped off, no breakdown of costs. I was charged $131 to remove and inspect a repair which I paid on the spot. I was then later charged $175 to refit a doortrim after refusing the exorbitant quoted price to replace electric window mechanism.*** AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Nice and fair price.They speak cleary by phone and always help you to get a quick appointment if you need as a backpacker or traveller.The localisation is very close to the town of Geelong for spend time whilst your car is fixing by the mechanics.

Customer satisfaction would be zero if I could give no stars. $900 out of pocket. issue remains in the same state as before it went to European Affair. Where's the value there? If we're judging on results then I will never be going back there again, which is a shame as they had an opportunity to secure a customer as long as I owned the car, but blew it.

I was having trouble with my Iveco motorhome going into limp mode. The couple of Iveco agencies I spoke to were of no help. I contacted European Affair and although the process entailed a bit of elimination to get to the problem it was done efficiently and with total communication. I'm very happy with the outcome. Many women who use mechanical services are often treated without too much respect, however Paul and Ashley proved this isn't a thing at this business. Highly recommended.
