Amazing calamari rings, souvlaki was good would have been better if it was proper souvlaki wrap not a taco wrap. But other than that really good, would definitely return.

I found this shop accidentally whilst going to Hastings.The food was delicious and not that expensive.I ordered a lunch pack, which included a Flake, Dim Sim, 1 potato cake, and chips and it cost only $8:50.

Well worth the 15min drive past other fish and chip shops to come to this place. Our favourite fish and chip shop since moving from QLD. They do such a good crumbed fish and Calamari. Not too heavy and the chips are always cooked well.

Crispy but not too oily, you definitely get your money's worth at this local fish and chippery. Wait time was very reasonable.We got the seafood basket and special flake, and barely had the stomach space to finish it all! Would recommend the seafood basket for variety.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten asked for grilled fish but they still battered it potato cakes thick and gluggy chips oily stuck together dim sims actually smelled like cat and dog wouldn’t feed it to my dog

Wow! Best fish n chips I’ve ever come across within half hr of home. Quality is always consistent which is a rarity. We drive from Narre warren for a feed and always go with the singles pack. Chips always golden and crisp, insides are like mashed potato … flake is to die for, very white and clean - fresh out of the ocean taste, like then ocean water! Light crisp batter to top it off! Their potato cakes are on point too! As I said, we drive from Narre warren just to have a feed. Really good value for money as the singles pack even comes with a can of drink! Flatties please never change.

Never had a bad piece of food from flattys, by far the best potato cakes I've ever had. The seafood is always fresh and crispy, never oily and the chips are always golden brown with a nice crunch. I'm assuming they're double fried. If only I could cook my own fried food like this. Hope this place never changes hands as it's the best fish and chip shop I've ever been too by a mile. I have no affiliation with them but I must give credit when credit is due

We were visiting RSPCA Peninsula and decided to make a detour to Tyabb Antiques. Hunger pangs at midday made us walk to the nearest food source ie the local Tyabb Fish & Chips as it has a small dine-in area. The batter is crisp yet light. Chips cooked to perfection with chicken salt! Great lunch outcome!
