Overall good and friendly staff, except for an older man at the weighting bridge with white hair, white beard and wearing glasses that asks too many questions and doesn't believe my rubbish was from home. Be careful with that evil man. All other members are fantastic

Great place to browse. It's funny to read comments by Sunshine Coast people, where the average household income is $150,000, complaining about $10. Let's get a grip. We live in one of the most affluent areas of the world. (So I think we have the highest quality rubbish!)

I gave only 1 star because it wouldn't let me give less. We had roughly 50kg of old tome skids And 750kg of metal shelving. He charged us $205.11 for 50kg of timber

Great for a lucky find. I feel this initiative is a great service to our community and support it often with appreciation for the staff with their help and fair pricing.However, I'm definitely NOT supportive of the business trading as Murgon Star Discounts arriving weekly to fill a van of goods to re sell through their retail store. I understand the need for constant turnover of goods but this action is just plain greedy and disappointing for genuine customers.

Great for a bargain but you really have to dig through the rubbish to find it. Caloundra & Noosa tip shops are SO well organised and Buderim is a dog’s breakfast. Staff are mostly friendly but it’s rare to see them beyond the confines of the office/desk. Maybe it’s because there’s no cross ventilation & it’s so darn hot in the shed. Turnover would be so much higher if people could actually find what they’re looking for rather than cardboard boxes of stuff dumped randomly.

If you need something random and are good at turning trash into treasure this is the place to go.40 painted Mason jars would have cost a fortune and taken a lot of time to paint. $20 wedding decorations sorted.

Very happy to find a mobility aid in the store at a fraction of new price. Checked out other prices & best value items, besides what I bought, is the leather couches for $50. If you need to find low cost furniture, you may be lucky. My sister from Melbourne, was disappointed at what was on offer at this tip shop. Guess you have to check it out!
