MILLTHORPE PARROT'S NEST

Quiet, private, luxury little two bedroom house. Less than 5 minutes from Millthorpe. The house is surrounded by beautiful garden with a lovely deck overlooking the garden & fire pit. Great base for a food & wine weekend.

Parrot’s Nest is set in a tranquil location in a fantastic rural setting a convenient short distance from Milthorpe. The accommodation is superb and extremely comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The support, advice and interaction with our host was terrific. The house is free standing, private and available solely for guest use. Chickens and geese roam the surrounds (along with some cattle) and guests get to benefit from chook eggs. Thoughtful provisions are available on arrival including top class teas, coffee (even a plunger with grains), butter, milk and a lovely fresh loaf of bread from a baker in town. Four of us had a really lovely time.

We almost didn't want to do an online review of this place, just in case the secret got out of just how great the place is. This little gem is actually way better than the online pics - not often you can say that genuinely about places like this. Dealing with the hosts was a pure delight - absolutely painless. Set in a very quiet, private, garden oasis with under cover parking. Overall adequately provisioned, comfortable and incredibly clean - could not fault it. Stayed Jan 16-20, 2023 - would recommend it to anyone.

An excellent stay at this beautiful retreat. Well provisioned with fresh eggs, butter and freshly baked bread. Close to Millthorpe but also great day trips to Bathurst and Orange. Unfortunately we didnt get to experience the fire pit due to wet conditions but are looking forward to our next stay already. David and Virginia were wonderful hosts also.Very restful and relaxing.

Beautiful, peaceful and private. Very close to Millthorpe to enjoy food and wine, or just sit on the deck with coffee or wine and take in the wildlife and pretty gardens. Very comfortable. Everything has been thought of. Highly recommended
