Edna's Vet - Housecalls

It is such a sad time to have your gorgeous fur baby put to sleep, but Dr Amanda made the experience so gentle and peaceful in our own home. She is just amazing and I highly recommend her. Dr Amanda was recommend by friends of ours and I contacted her prior to making my appointment. She was so helpful and patient. A couple of weeks later I made the dreaded appointment.Dr Amanda came to our house, prior to this her communication was brilliant, she spend as much time as was needed to settle our 15 year Labrador before sedating and finally putting her to sleep.Dr Amanda was so caring, gentle and kind at such a sad time, this is just what we needed.Thank you so much Dr Amanda and I recommend you to anyone - I wish we had found you earlier to assist with the geriatric care that our Labrador needed.

Amanda's kindness and compassion made an extremely difficult day easier. She showed so much respect towards us and our beloved little Oscar from the moment she arrived at our home. Wrapping him so carefully after he was gone was just beautiful and made parting with him a little more bearable. Thank you so much Amanda and our family is forever grateful.

Edna’s Vet is truly the best! Amanda is a fantastic vet, striking that rare balance of smart, caring, accommodating, and honest, which is somewhat scarce in profit-driven animal medical care. She looked after my old boy at her previous surgery and in her new practice, and was able to give him a beautiful, peaceful end at home in the most compassionate way. I will always be grateful for her, and couldn’t recommend her more!

Dr Amanda was such a compassionate, kind and caring vet as she helped our sweet old boy cross over the rainbow bridge. He remained calm, relaxed, pain free and at peace, and he was surrounded by love. Even his best fur-friend, our cat, came into the lounge room to pay his respects & say goodbye. Thank you Amanda.

In late April I had to say goodbye to my best friend and fur baby. My 15 year old husky. I was not able to get him to our normal vet and googled mobile vets and came across Amanda. Thank goodness I did because what was a terrible day was made better by Amanda’s care and empathy. She was so kind to my fur baby and treated him with such compassion, And also helped me arrange for his cremation. But the best part was about a week later in the mail I received a paw print she had made before he was taken for cremation. It was such a kind gesture. If your in need of vet care at all I can throughly recommend Edna’s vets.

Amanda was caring, respectful and professional. She was able to attend to our elder dogs passing, responding quickly and sending her over the bridge to rest peacefully. Arranging the AWL to return her remains was seamless and thoughtful.

Amanda made the departure of our beloved Pomeranian Macy that much easier and she did it with such care, kindness and compassion. I was devastated at losing her but sought comfort in knowing that this process seemed peaceful and she left us with comforted hearts. We miss her terribly- Thankyou Amanda
