Currently experiencing a significant change in my life, that i am new to. Lady on the phone was so rude & belittling, she even gave me a good old laugh for asking a question. Would not step foot into this clinic.

My apointment was at 15:30 last of the day. The technician was clearly annoyed over something that had happened during her shift. She was rude and short. When she finished with me at 5pm her mood lifted saying “Oh I never get out at 5pm” .

Received a couple of gynae procedures today and was very happy from booking to completion of both procedures. Mary (sonographer) was absolutely lovely, informative, gentle, respectful and ultra-professional. Dr Joanne was equally so and took her time to explain in detail and ensure I understood as well as to understand my own presentation. I was really taken by how extremely respectful and professional both were, in what is a bit of an awkward procedure. They made me feel totally relaxed. I knew I was in very capable hands and found both to be very thorough - as well as personable, engaged, positive and uplifting. I left feeling very reassured.I felt involved, informed and respected throughout. I also had absolutely no pain or discomfort. Whilst each person is different, I certainly felt that I was in caring hands that were very considerate and respectful in carrying out the procedures which I think helped to ensure no discomfort.

I would suggest booking in to ultrasound care in Alexandria, the Sonographer there was so lovely. The Sonographer at Newtown was niceish although seemed annoyed I was booked in at 12+6 for my 13 week scan even though it was ultrasound care that booked me in. She said we probably won’t be able to see anything. She then complained that my bladder was full even though they ask you to have a full bladder? She then spent the entire session complaining about my fibroids being in the way and saying judgmental things like “how old are you? they are big for someone your age” they might cause problems and be blocking the birth canal and “did it take me long to get pregnant?” These might seem like normal things to her but to a first time mum they are not great to hear. I left feeling like something is wrong and immediately called my mum who is a midwife in a panic because she made me worry. It is not the Sonographer’s place to give clinical advice.

I have been here for both my first child and more recently my second. I've only had good experiences. Would highly recommend.

One of the technicians was rough, mean and belittling, and made disparaging comments about my age (35). She seemed annoyed that I had a full bladder even though I'd been told to drink water, and made me feel personally responsible for it being difficult to find one of my ovaries and inferred it would make it impossible in the future to have IVF. Weeks later I still feel upset by my experience with her; I left feeling traumatised and overwhelmed and cried for hours. The younger technician was lovely and gentle and reassuring and I wish she could have done my whole procedure.

I had many of my pregnancy ultrasounds performed at this location and the earlier ultrasounds were performed well. Unfortunately, when it came time for me to have my Week 32 ultrasound performed, the person who performed it was rather disorganised, was running 40 mins late for my appointment (it was supposed to be at 4pm but it was 4:40pm by the time I was seen). My obstetrician then informed me at my next appointment that this person ended up making a mistake with the measurements, which resulted in me needing to have my ultrasound performed again at another company - to be on the safe side, seeing as these measurements were crucial for confirming when my cesarean date would be locked in. I understand that mistakes can happen, as we are only human, however when a mistake costs $375, I would expect more care to be taken by the person performing the ultrasound. I feel that the person was in a rush to get home or something. I would therefore not recommend this location to others. My invoice states that the servicing provider was Dr Kathryn Graham.
