Grassy Head Holiday Park

Love this holiday spot. Visit here often. Is not like a Big 4 or Reflections, so don't expect things like jumping pillows or pools etc, but the area and beach are just beautiful. Some good fishing spots around the headland and on the beach.

This place is a step back in time, it's quiet, simple, rustic. On the highest grounds there are mostly permanent private caravans with annexes, on the lowest grounds is holidaying travelers camping/caravans with or without power. The cabins are up next to the entrance to the park, a supposed Bungalow is right next to the reception, it's actually sort of modified for disabled guests, well the sink and kitchen bench area are lowered, plates and glasses would be out of reach though, it's not as private as the cabins and the view is that of rubbish bins and a very large gas bottle or of anyone who uses the bins. I don't know what you get for the extra charge as the photos on the website actually showed that was a choice in the cabins, not the Bungalows. I don't know if there is a difference except for the booking prices. The curtain around the bed made me feel I was in hospital and it took a few days to ignore it. The kettle cord doesn't reach the wall plug so I had to balance it on the back of a plate so it had reach.

Great area tucked in behind the trees, beautiful beaches either side of the headland.

Nice little caravan park right by the sea. Lots of trees and good clean amenities. A nice little getaway spot, very quiet ☺️.

We just spent a few days at this beautiful park. The amenities are kept spotless and the staff are super friendly. The park is so close, with easy access to the beach. Maybe we were blessed with the weather as the beach was crystal clear and clean. We are planning to go back before the end of February. Had a lovely stay here for an affordable night as a pit stop, but would love to come back for a longer stay. A well maintained area with nice camp sites. Facilities are convenient and clean. There's access to 2 beaches which were stunning and nice and quiet. Dog friendly including an off leash beach! Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing I would like to see is a pool as well!

Right on the beach. Small but tidy amenities block, lots of shady trees. Had a van site with mat. Beware of snake signs posted around and saw one outside the amenities block which worried me as we have dogs. Large, really large goannas roam the van park. One road in which gets very busy on weekends. Stuart Point is the only option for shops unless you're happy to travel to Kempsey or Coffs Harbour
