We had been given a gift voucher for Christmas. We were there on a Thursday and Poachers Pantry offer a choice of three tasting plates. We chose the Poachers Smokehouse platter and had a glass of local wine with it and it was more than enough for the two of us. The meats were very tasty. Our host was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We will be going back for a lunch when Spring arrives. The drive to the Pantry and the lovely garden will look even better in Spring

We had a lovely Friday lunch at poachers pantry. Our waiter was incredibly professional friendly and knowledgeable of the food, excellent service. The food was delicious. Locally sourced ingredients executed to perfection. The highlight was the smoked rack of lamb perfectly pink from edge to edge, beautiful smokiness exquisitely matched with a tart blackberry jus. 10/10 recommend for the best meal in the area.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good amount of parking available on-site, and areas for picnic packages. The food was excellent, although the portions were a little small for a 3-course meal. The visual aesthetics for the beef ribs also looked a bit unfortunate. Interior could be a little bit better spaced during covid, we sat almost back to back with the table behind us. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience and they were very accommodating with high chairs for the little ones.

Had a fantastic set 3 course meal on Sunday afternoon. The Matre De was just wonderful and provided us with the details of each dish when it was served.We definitely will be back.

First time eating there and it was a very enjoyable experience. Staff efficient and very friendly. We found portion sizes just right for a 3 course meal, but we are not very big eaters. Can always supplement with extra sides, bread etc.Food was interesting and nicely presented.It’s a very pretty setting and seemed child friendly so perhaps in a few years we might return with the grand children.

What an incredible experience. We had a phenomenal lunch at Poacher’s Pantry. The service was fantastic, food delicious, wine was wonderful and the venue itself was stunning. Thank you to all who created such a memorable day for my family. We loved it all and hope to return.
