Platypus Eco Cabin, Wollomombi

Best holiday we had here at Waterfall way Farmstay. Well setup and stocked house. PS3, ping pong table, fishing rod there is something for everyone. Big enough for at least 3 families. Lucy was friendly and easy to deal with. Kids love the calf feeding. The valley view from the backyard was awesome. Early morning fog between valleys are a serene sight. Saw some Roos at that time as well. Lucy’s special home made bread was delicious. One day we went to explore the valley where we met Lucy’s parents and uncle. Really nice people with amazing stories.There is a small river where you can fish and see some platypus if you are lucky. Bring mineral water if you don’t want to drink rain water. No wifi however Telstra 3G available if you use that network.

10 of us shared the farmstay for a long weekend away, and there was plenty of room, very spacious. The property is very neat and tidy, with everything you need to make it hone. Lucy is an absolute pleasure and made our stay something memorable. The farm itself is extremely large, and there's plenty to see and do, or just sit back and relax and take the surrounds in.

Beautiful place for peace and quiet, fun to explore the property, clean.

Our little family had 2 nights at the Waterfall Way Farm Stay and it was absolutely fantastic.Our 10 month old loved meeting all the animals on the farm during the farm tour, and the house was the perfect place for us all to relax after some busy days. Lucy and Chris are such lovely hosts- they taught us a lot about their farm and their animals- they have so much respect for them.The house was spotless, the kitchen was great and there was plenty of space for the baby to crawl around and explore.We’d highly recommended staying here. And will absolutely be back again - for a longer stay next time! (And we will make sure the petrol gauge isn’t on empty next time...thanks for helping us out with some petrol guys!)

We recently stayed there with 6 adults and 5 young kids. The house is really well setup, very clean and comfortable. There is so much to do both on the farm and in the area but it's so easy to just sit back and watch the world go by. This was our second trip to the farmstay and no doubt will not be our last.

Really nice homely accommodation in a great location. Ideal place to kick back and relax, or a good base for exploring the many national parks and small towns in the region. Plenty of room for the whole family.

we loved our stay here. we havent been to a farmstay for a long time and wasnt fussed about it but we have changed our minds after our stay here. well presented place, clean and nice decor. but the best is outside watching the view and sitting outside at night and watching the stars. we ordered a meal one night and it was the best steaks we have EVER had. lucy was a lovely host and easy to deal with.( and her dog was nice also ) close to hiking tracks.

A beautiful house in a very beautiful setting and very well equipped. We had a delightful week here and felt it was the best holiday we could remember. A very happy experience.
