Great friendly staff and a wide variety of items to choose from.

I purchase Royal Canin dog food but it is very expensive at PetBarn. I enjoy the local service and try to support my local shops but when the item is over 45% more expensive than purchasing online, including delivery, I am unable to justify the additional cost. I beleive that PetBarn is gouging the market by adding almost 45% to the price for instore purchases, especially when I can purchase 'click and collect' at the same cheaper price. I will no longer visit the local store for this reason. If purchasing online, I also won't be using PetBarn since the online price is not comparable with other online sotores, such as PetCircle. Unfortunately, I beleive that PetBarn has now priced themselves out of my market.My daughter experienced this on Friday 16/12. She went to the Woden store and was charged $150.99 for Royal Canin German Shepher Adult 11kg dog food. The 'click and collect' price at the PetBarn online store, picking up in 30 minutes from the Woden store, was $106.03. My daughter was not advised to visit the online store, nor was she offered a price match, which she asked for. This amounts to pure deception in marketing and price gouging.Do not visit PetBarn without first purchasing through the online store and selecting 'click and collect' - you will end up paying up to 50% more for items purchased directly in store.

The staff are always happy, friendly, helpful and VERY knowledgeable. The stock is always plentiful and the members discount is great! Thanks! :)

There was a lot of staff around and all of them asked if I needed any help or said hello and overall really friendly. Lay out was good and all the fish looked really good.How ever there were no cats in the adoption area.

We go here all the time to get supplies for our dog, cat and for the wild birds we feed. It has a reasonably sized selection of food, fish supples, bird, dog and cat supplies, and the staff are friendly and helpful.I snapped some pictures of how the birds in the area use the dog water bowls when it’s hot. It made me feel happy that even a small gesture like a small dog water dish can have a larger impact on the critters in the area.
