If you are planning to move into this building, there are a few things to be aware of:1. There are limited building amenities.2. There is a Facebook group for Hue, managed by a building committee who also live in the building. The committe's job is not to advocate for you or raise any general issues for you. They basically function as the eyes and ears of MOCS. The chairperson, Gina, has been known to use the group to publicly name and shame individual residents rather than just speak to them directly.3. The building is managed by an owner's corporation that will charge you for anything they can think of and provide sub-par care of Hue. There was a serious safety hazard when the lighting in the car park garage was not working, which residents had to deal with for weeks/months before it was repaired. The communal hallway walls are already scuffed and marked even though it's a relatively new building. The building has an issue with spiders/cobwebs but only a few of the apartments had it treated.4. Be aware that there is a move-out fee. The fee has been arbitrarily changed by resident.Other than that, just know many of the apartments on the side facing Warrigal Road may have issues with some noise due the traffic, even at night.The building otherwise has some benefits, including the fact that it is relatively new and its close proximity to the Oakleigh shops or Chadstone.I hope all this important information is helpful in making your decision on whether to move here!
