Alex is an animal whisperer. Our Kelpie Samson adored her and had so much fun at her studio. Even our very old, very grumpy kitty Taffy came out of her shell (or cat cage), explored the studio and warmed to Alex, which is a small miracle. The images are incredible and we're so excited to showcase our new art in our home, and to always have such amazing pictures of our four legged family members. I can't recommend Alex and Houndstooth Studio enough. THANK YOU!

Alex captured the essence of my pouche, Ella, beautifully and the result is a beautiful photo, unique in its style. I love it.Alex and her colleagues were so professional and organised.They do a lot of charity work and support so many animal causes all pro bono.

I have now had 4 visits over the past 4 years to have photos of my fur babies as I have sadly lost 3 over these years and gained 4 new ones since our first visit. Alex has been amazing with all my fur kids, even my boy who was scared of all new people started to relax with Alex and even started to enjoy his visits for new photos. The photos captured are amazing and its always hard to select the ones to buy to place on my walls. I highly recommend Alex if you want fantastic photos of your fur family she takes on every challenge you throw at her when it comes to your fur family. Thank you Alex for all my amazing photos which added to my fantastic memories of my fur kids that have passed over the rainbow bridge

Alex is an amazing photographer and amazing with dogs. We have an anxious dog who startles easily and can get reactive toward strangers, but Alex knew exactly how to behave around him and very quickly became his best friend! She made the session fun and stress free not just for the puppers but for us as dog parents too, I cannot recommend her highly enough! We just received our prints and they are stunning. Thanks Alex!

The team at Houndstooth were amazing!!! Alex did a truly magical job of capturing both my pets and was fun to work with!Collen did a great job taking care of my booking and her follow up was impressive. I will absolutely book my other pets in to see the team in the future. Overall it was a brilliant experience and the photos will be on my walls for years to come. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks guys!!

Having my dogs photo shoot with Alex from Houndstooth Studio was the most positive experience. From start to finish the service was friendly and welcoming. Colleen in office who books your appointments for the shoot and collection of the photos to Alex doing the actual shoot and meeting with you for choosing the photos you want printed. The whole experience was positive, fun and one I will never forget. Alex is a true artist and her talents are second to none. Thank you so much. We had a great time and can’t wait to have another shoot one day

We had the most amazing experience at Houndstooth Studio.Our puppy Luna was completely besotted with Alex!Alex knew exactly how to get our pup to respond to the camera, she was so patient and kind and we have the most incredible photos.The whole experience was flawless and Colleen, the business admin officer was so friendly and made sure all questions we had were answered and that we had all the necessary information.Alex also kindly signed our copies of her book 'The Quokka's Guide to Happiness' - it is the most gorgeous book.I can't recommend Alex highly enough!
