Have been on this road between Beachport and Robe SA numerous times before but have never taken the turnoff to Woakwine Cutting. Decided it was time to go and have a look. Mind blowing is pretty much an understatement. When you see the machinery and what 2 men achieved in 3 years with it in 1959 is pretty incredible.Don’t drive on by - go and have a look for yourself !!! I am in awe ...

Secrete gem, def. worth stopping by when around the area (eg. if you fancy something more quiet after all the great ocean road attractions). You can learn about two incredible men and their dream about turning swamp land into farm land.It is free.Plan about an 45-60min in total, if you also walk to the viewing point, which I recommend! (only ~500m up the street)
