Great staff, shop and atmosphere. Their assistance was greatly appreciated in helping me select the correct surfboard fins and accessories! I’d definitely recommend bringing in your board to test fit them, especially if you don’t exactly know what you are looking for. Cheers Beach Beat team, we will be back!

A very cool surf shop with a wide range of surfing gear. Best variety of surf hats I’ve seen too! Staff are very friendly and helpful, they don’t pressure you to buy! Plenty of surfboards to choose from, long and short!

Whilst trying to decide on which fin set up to go with I found the service and expertise to be first rate. These guys seriously know their stuff! However after a few visits to the Coolum store it became clear that due to no fault of either party, Beach Beat was going to be unable to fulfil my needs. At this point in the discussion the ‘big boss’ cut me off, mid sentence, in a borderline aggressive tone and shut the conversation down. With plenty of other surf shops on the coast and in Coolum we’ll be spending the store credit we are entitled to and never shopping there again.
