Had a good overall experience throughout the sales process when purchasing the 2022 Outlander recently (late Feb, 2022), thanks to Cameron. However, just over a month later the media unit and reverse sensor have malfunctioned, (starting up and then switching off) and the interior air con vent seems to be poorly constructed (see picture).When Paul Wakeling was contacted, the response from staff was disappointingly slow (being kept on hold for in excess of 15 minutes and even 25minutes on one occasion) and underwhelming. Mitsubishi was also contacted directly on the 1300 number available on their website. The customer service rep was also apologetic, however, cited that ‘although Mitsubishi obviously do not intend to make cars with faults in them, that is why the Diamond Advantage warranty is so good’. Why am I having to consider the warranty at this very early stage into my new car purchase? Was also reassured that I should be ‘happy’ that it would only be a 2 week wait until my car would be looked at, as many customers have been made to wait up to 6 weeks.I completely understand that Covid has impacted staffing levels, however, as a company which proudly boasts on its phone service line its industry awards for sales and customer service, it seems that Paul Wakeling Mitsubishi have fallen short here. Apologies from staff seem half-hearted at best- unsure if this is because the sale of new cars with defects is common? Regardless, I would have hoped that after spending over 40k on a new car that is barely over a month old, a little more would have been done to assist. Perhaps this is small change for others, including Paul Wakeling Motors. And perhaps these are considered to be minor issues. However, for me, and I’m sure for many others, I expect quality, reliability and confidence in a new vehicle after spending that amount of money. I now have a brand new Outlander with no functioning reverse sensor, reverse camera, radio, maps or calling function. And I also worry that when I do finally get my car in for its service over a week away, I will be potentially told that I have to return on a later date after a new unit is ordered. Frustrated that I’m following up on issues which should not be a concern when buying brand new and concerned that I have potentially bought a lemon of a vehicle.

I rang this dealership and spoke to Rod Harris who is in Sales. He offered to hold the vehicle that I wanted until I went out to look at it. I though it was very nice and a thoughtful thing to do. There was only one type and it could of sold in that time.I then got out there and told Rod that my current vehicle sale fell through and Rod offered again to hold the vehicle I wanted for 2 weeks until I sold my car.I then sold my vehicle in order to purchase my new one from Rod, and again Rod was very helpful in the price as I did not get the funds I wanted for my old car. He assisted me again to help me out.On the day,I could not get out to Campbeltown from Concord to collect my new car so Rod sent a driver to collect me and take me to the dealership.I cannot express how grateful and thankful I am for the wonderful and exceptional service I have received from this dealership and especially Rod.He went above and beyond to assure I got the car that I wanted and went out of his way to even extend the registration a few months for me.I highly recommend this dealership as the customer service and warm welcoming was incredible.I am very happy with the sale and my new vehicle. I would definitely return to this dealership in the future.Thank you Rod.Georgia.

Went there with family on Saturday to have a look at outlander. The guy wasn’t really interested in explaining anything us. When I closed the tail gate wrongfully he said rudely “Its just frustrating when people don’t press the right buttons” we left and end up buying Maxda across the road. But hey, it’s frustrated when people don’t do their job properly. You should be explaining features to customers, its just a new car to them. I mean why do you come to work if you don’t feel like working. I’m disheartened infact infront of my kids. They really need to train their staff properly.

Test drove mitsubishi outlander PHEV, i should say the customer service of the Sales rep was not great. After i got back from the test drive, he didnt even bother to offer us a seat or let us inside. All his replies were either in 1 or 2 words. It looked like he was least bothered to talk to us. I was very much interested to buy the car, but now I'm gonna take my business elsewhere.

Cameron was the most amazing person to deal with. The best I've come across. Very happy to buy a car from him. He listened to our needs, and looked after us the whole way through and didn't push. He is friendly, vonsiderate, honest and has a fantastic attitude towards his customers and was always able to answer my questions any time and let us take our time to make our decisions while giving all the info I required. Made the whole experience fantastic. Raquel was also very helpful with the paperwork and organising things promptly.
