Koala Hospital
The Koala Hospital is a beautiful little sanctuary that is doing wonders for the Koala population in NSW. It has a lot of information about koalas and Koalas for you to see. Each koala has a unique story of where they came from. They even have a window for you to watch the professionals medically examine and take care of the koalas.A great place for the family to visit.

The koala hospital is worth seeing while in port Macquarie. It isn't very big but it's so cute to see the koalas and read about their individual stories, how they've been rescued and why they're in the hospital. You can see them up close.

Loved coming here to see the Koalas. We came and stayed in the area to look for koalas but never saw any in the wild this stay. Some gorgeous koalas. Some super sad how they got there, like Ella. The small orphaned baby joey koala was super cute too. I would come here again and visit Jade and Ella. Nice little interact stups with koala facts and mini Museum with taxidermy.

Koala Hospital
An amazing place dedicated to the care of injured or sick koalas, providing a future for this iconic Australian marsupial. Informative displays with detailed background of koala's currently under care. The volunteers are informative, welcoming and demonstrate a passion for what they do. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely little sanctuary for Koalas. You get to walk along a small enclosure with rescued Koalas from the 2020 Aus forest fires, including orphaned and injured Koalas from all around Australia. Thank you to the team for providing a safe space for our beloved native mammals!

The viewing bit is a bit small but the information about each koala is heartbreaking but volunteers and staff are doing a great looking after them. The staff are very friendly, this was my first time visiting, I fell in love with ocean summer and ended up getting a fridge magnet of her.

Great place. Highly recommend going at 8:30 for opening. That's when the koalas are being fed & cleaned. They were very active.

It was beautiful to see all the gorgeous koalas. It was very sad though to see the stories of how they became to the hospital. There was a cheeky one or two also. The guides are very informative and the carers are very dedicated. A wonderful place for families. It also has a coffee caravan with delicious food and drinks and gorgeous seating areas.

A great place to visit with the kids. Good display cages that are great for the animals but also allow good views ( littler ones may need to be lifted). Lots of info. on the displays and WONDERFUL guides who are very friendly and have lots of interesting facts and stories.
