The awnings they installed are brilliant. They look fantastic and have solved my shading and rain issues. Lyndon and Luke also helped me out with advise about my deck and fixed a troublesome door. Contour did the complete renovations for me for two apartments in Brisbane. I was living in Singapore. Lyndon was great to communicate with and completed the work well and on time. I did not even need to visit the apartments. I worked well with Lyndon to make some of the choices. He can manage entire jobs like that no issue.

The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the manner in which the work was done, especially his liaison with us, was simply exemplary. When we couldn’t attend, he sent us photos of progress.It often happens that you cannot be sure what lies behind the walls of the rooms that are to be refurbished. It is not possible to scope the project in detail before work starts. Not being builders, it became essential for us to rely on Lyndon’s advice: when electricity wires appeared unexpectedly, when the original waterproofing membranes were found to have failed, when walls were not vertical or at right angles so requiring custom-building of units to fit the odd shapes, and when walls were too thin and fragile to enable features we had hoped to incorporate.Lyndon’s advice was always prompt and practical, and it was always consistent with our preferred style for the finished upgrade. He never showed surprise, and was never upset with our suggestions. His ideas about style, colours, practicality, comfort and of course safety matters were always sensible. He handled all administrative matters in dealing with various authorities and his paperwork was always clear and accurate.The finished product surpassed our expectations. We are extremely happy with the result, which was on-time and in-budget. Lyndon had done a previous job for us, and we are equally as pleased with this job as we were with the first one.
