From the moment we walked in the door it was a fantastic experience. Food was exceptional, service was outstanding and they catered their portion sizes for our 6 year old. Do yourself a favour and book a table now! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Had an amazing night with my girlfriend here. It strikes the perfect balance of fine dining quality food and small restaurant atmosphere. The food was outstanding and in generous portions and the experience was incredible. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Went with my partner for a date night. Been recommended this place, however it did not at all live up to expectations. The food was mediocre to say very generously. My partner’s beer that he ordered never came and we romantically watched to cockroaches pass up and down the window seal about 2cm from our heads. My partner finally caught one of them but this whole experience just was not living up to its reputation. Very pricey for that too. Not going to be back any time soon.

Lovely dinner, drinks, and service.Didn’t like the salt bush on the lamb shoulder. Other than that it tastes good. The panacotta was exceptional.

Had a glimpse of foodie heaven last night... Una Volta was faultless! There was a wonderful variety of dishes and the set menu allowed for such a relaxed evening (no food envy!). The service was attentive and thoughtful. The wine list had hidden gems for us to explore with very reasonable pricing. Can't wait to go back!!

We had a lovely birthday dinner with friends. Great atmosphere and the set menu was well balanced and with delightful flavours. Good selection of wines at reasonable prices.

Una Volta is literally the best restaurant. It is seasonal, it is soul warming. My partner and I loved sharing a bottle of wine with dinner and then having a fantastic glass of limoncello with dessert.The last time I came here I had mussels, which I have never enjoyed, only to love them here. Tonight was the sardines in a tomato sauce which again, I have never before enjoyed. They were fantastic.The focaccia is always so soft and crispy, the olives are herbaceous and floral. It is so filling. While definitely a splurge for dinner, you definitely leave stuffed to the gills.I would highly recommend for candle lit date nights or an amazing night with close friends.Truly a Newcastle treasure.

Went for the 2nd time last night, can say for sure it is our favourite restaurant in Newcastle. Everything about Una Volta is flawless and to top it off prices are extremely reasonable for what you get.
