Golden Elephant Indian Restaurant
We arrived at 6.20. Went to the counter to get our drinks. Eventually waved a staff member to take our food orders. Waited patiently for sometime. Watch 2 tables that arrived after us receiving their meals.By 7.50 we went to pay for our drinks a and told them we were leaving. It was very obvious our order had been misplaced. Very disappointed.

Golden Elephant Indian Restaurant
Hoped to eat at the Restaurant here today for lunch, however Website times are not correct. We ended up grabbing takeaway and eating in the side area. Two dishes were very good, the Samosa's and the Chicken dish. Rice and Vegetarian dishes were nothing special. We did need a bag to repack our leftovers and it seemed to be too much for the staff to cope with. This was a simple request after spending more than $90. In the end we recycled the bag we had.

Golden Elephant Indian Restaurant
Visited this restaurant years ago and was keen to see if it still was in operation. Not disappointed. Will be ordering on the way home to SA. The kebab store next door pumps all day and night. Owned/run by the same people. Well worth the stop off.

Golden Elephant Indian Restaurant
Up from Adelaide for a couple of nights, our first visit to Golden Elephant, Saturday night, ordered takeaway pizzas and they were excellent. We thought about dining in and having curries etc. but the restaurant section was unfortunately shut. Hopefully open next time we are in the region.Recommended for pizza, have been told the curries are excellent too.

Golden Elephant Indian Restaurant
I went to the Indian restaurant with some friends for my birthday. I usually have their paradise chicken but I was brave and tried the Dahl Maharani. Oh wow it was truly delicious! We all had a lovely evening and enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

I have been to the Golden Elephant twice now & have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent & the service was 1st class. Our waitress (Amy) couldn't do enough for us, congrats on finding such a conscientious worker. We will definitely be return customers. Doug.

Our family had a lovely dinner here. The food was both delicious and well presented. The staff are super friendly and hospitable. Great vegetarian and vegan options. We will definitely return.
