The Olive Nest & 1838 Wines

Really loved this, not being real olive lovers... this was great! Enjoyed a tasting platter with a lovely glass of wine, from 1838 wines, highly recommend! It was nice also that it was away from the bigger commercialised" wineries

We stumbled upon this place and loved it! Great hospitality and really friendly staff. They were great and accommodating for our two dogs as well. The tasting platter was wonderful and the wine was excellent. Highly recommend visiting!

Disappointing. All wines were refined with egg whites and had milk powder. The tasting platter for $20 was so sparse, basically no olives and the bruschetta came unseasoned without any basil, just tomato on bread. There was only a pinky nail worth of dip (unlike photos posted from other google reviewers) on a very sugary mini like Jatz so we couldn’t actually taste the dip. On the platter was three pieces of bread (between 2) so we had to ask for more bread so we could actually try the oil. There wasn’t anything special about the oils or the olives. I wont remember this place a year from now or be recommending it to anyone

Lady serving us was nice and friendly. Wines were good. However $15 for 6 oils to taste and ration it out over 2 pieces of bread between 2 people..... think that was a little tight for cost. Overall nice location

Nice friendly staff and welcoming. Olive oils are great especially the verjuice. Would give it a try. The choice of wines were a bit limited compared to the other wineries but worth a visit

Cute spot with great variety and quality of olive oils. Our family enjoyed trying all of the different varieties. Would definitely recommend a stop.

Well worth a visit on your Mudgee food and wine tour.Complimentary wine tasting available and the olive tasting platter was great value and an excellent way to sample all the tasty olive options!

Dropped in by recommendation. The man who helped was able to talk is through the products and spent time with us, even though we didn't pay for a tasting. We bought a few products which turned out to be amazing.
