We only popped in for a margarita before going somewhere else for dinner, sat at the bar, the guy behind the bar looked at us and no acknowledgement or greeting at all. One if the lovely girls that worked there greeting us warmly and took our order. Unfortunately the marg was very underwhelming, it was strong but tasted as if something had been left out accidentally

We loved the food, the live music and the atmosphere but the best thing was the staff! They were all really helpful and accommodating. My fussy 6 yr old was able to ask the chef exactly what she wanted and he even gave her tastings before preparing her meal to make sure she was happy with everything. All topped off by complimentary churro tastings at the end.

It was a nice find while visiting Blackheath. The Mexican themed menu works well with the beverages available. The staff were friendly and efficient. We made it there twice and were happy with the overall experience. Great relaxed vibe.

A few cocktails and some Nachos to tide the thirst and hunger.Cocktails arrived quickly and were tasty. We only had the one.The Nachos has stale chips. Not sure if they were old or just not prepared correctly.Some additional chips were ordered and these arrived hot fresh and very tasty. A stark difference from the original ones. Not sure what was going on here.Otherwise a great venue.Would love to be here for a night of some tunes to listen to.

Bar staff were great and the drinks menu creative. Guac and chips were great, but otherwise the kitchen was a real weakness. No brisket nachos on the first night of the week (closed tues/weds). At 6pm we got the last pork ribs, which came out cold. Whilst they didn’t charge for the ribs and offered a free dessert it was a disappointing food experience

Fantastic food and service! They thought our meals were taking too long (they absolutely weren't) so we were presented with a free delicious bowl of guac and chips. Food was so fresh and yummy plus good live music. The staff seem happy too. The only downside is the ladies toilet door couldn't close and the stalls seem as if a light breeze is going to cause them to all fall down because they were VERY rickety.

Someone recommended the fish tacos in their review and I wasn't disappointed - they were sensational. Also tried the tostadas and brisket nachos and they were good too. The staff were really friendly and the band was funky.

Not the best Mexican. They were out of the chicken dish and wouldn’t let us mix up the tacos to have one of each kind (instead of 3 of the same). Kids meals were cheap but you get what you pay for as the portions were VERY small. The brisket in the nachos was bland and not very brisket like. Mince beef or beans would have been better. Cocktails were a bit watered down. However service was quick and efficient.
